ok...I thought my main was 5 yrs. Apparently you go to GK to claim your bday gift. If your unsure when your toons bday is you can use command /mybirthday
I am only 4 yrs, 6 months, 23 days old :-(

Seriously, if this is a celebration of 5 years (and players who've been with the game 5+ years) then those of us who have characters older than 5 years SHOULD get something as well. Even if this is a new part of the game that will be around forever, I don't want to wait another whole year to get something for it.
And even if people who are celebrating their 2nd, 3rd and 4th birthdays are getting stuff as well - I still want something. I can see waiting a year to celebrate a 4th or 5th birthday - because that character was not created until after release, so it makes no sense to go back and give something to those who just narrowly missed their "birthdays". But if we're marking time off of when L2 was released - those characters who were created before should be grandfathered in. People w/ "birthdays" of 1, 2, 3, etc. years shouldn't be able to celebrate their birthdays before people who are already 5+.
Complain complain complain, I know. It's not that big of a deal, the hat isn't that great - I would LOVE to have the vitality buff though, but even if I had it I probably wouldn't be able to play enough to make any use of it. I'm just sayin' - they could have not implemented this at all and I'd be happy, but if they're going to do it then they need to treat their customers right and include those who were created in beta.

They can give them whatever they want as long as it's not exclusive to those people, I don't care if they recieve 200 million adena as a birthday gift. What I don't want is to have them get an item that I can't get an equivalent(in power) of.
If they get an arcana mace that looks like a infinity scepter, thats fine with me, I can make an arcana mace myself and spend my own money on it. and It'll be as strong as what they get, just wont look as fancy
If they get a heroe's glow that's fine too as long as it doesn't give them special powers.
I just don't want them to get something thats more powerful than what anybody else can get. They can have any item for all I care, as long as an equivalent in power exists for me to get.
I'm not jealous, They can have a very valuable item for all I care, as long as they don't get an excessively powerful item

My first char (on Lionna) was born the day Lionna opened. My main before the end of the open beta...
My first toon on Dev, made the day the server opened, was deleted a long time ago. Oldest now are May 2nd and 18th. I just *happened* to log in my May 2 toon today, for the first time in forever. The hat is ok, nothing amazing, but yea people with older bdays should be able to receive the item.
Got the hat (can't trade/drop/sell and it's not shadow) and a 12 hour vitality buff, that doesn't go away when you log out. Haven't tried dying and don't plan to for the next 10 hours :P
