Magical power of water Part 1

I have been trying to obtain the stolen green tolem. Every time i go open the box it tell me that it is empty and go back to see Soul guide Asefa and come back again after the curse is broken. I did this 6x alrdy and still the box that contain the stolen green tolem is empty. What am i doing wrong? Please help:(

Did mobs see you go in there? You have to be sneaky.

If you are wearing your boing boing shoes, look to see if you get a debuff running there.

you musn't get agro or kill any varka/ketra during that quest. if you do then you need to start the quest all over again and don't forget to bring a key of thief with you.

You have to get to the box without being seen by any mobs ... that means no killing mobs, no sleeping mobs, no beeing targetted by a mob.

You either need to get a group to go ahead of you to clear the way so no mobs see you or you need to find a Spectral Dancer with dance of shadows to take you there. Or of course if you 're a dagger class stealth/sm there.

Wearing boing boing shoes=making noice, asking for attention.

There's another, easier option.

On the north side of Varka near Death Valley, there is a pathway that leads up to the fortress. If you climb up the little hill on the left, you can snake around (doubling back a bit) a short path that allows you to climb up a small hill and drop down into Varka Village right by the noble port. In fact, when you drop down, the box is just to your right, meaning you don't have to see Varka mobs at all.

I ran it through on my fenrir, I got aggro but was never hit. I just logged in the varka village to loose the train and was able to get the totem.
