For a long time i dont see any gm here online at the forums. Also they never more posted here or took any actions to lock threads or clean some questions and gave important answers to us. This forum is getting a bit out of control where flaming and trash talking have become a normal thing on daily bases with no organization. Where are the gms who shows who is making here the rules? Is this a "private servers" or "crappy l2 sux because of bots" forum? Where are the gms to bring here some order? If this continues this forum is really non-sense anymore where you cant express your opinion in a normal sense of talking without getting flamed and stupid answers...Is this forum turning into a new l2blah? Gms, please dont let that happen.

Nowhere in the EULA does it state that it's ok to bot if your opponents bot...

off topic? You are only crying because so many people have taken this opportunity to call you and those like you what you truly are: bad posters. Vile infections, detremential to the community. First, nobody admited being a bot. Saying: "as if you were different" doesn't mean anything but the fact that the person who's calling another person a 'botter' could probably be a botter himself.
Second, it's always about the one and only thing: ppl who say: "I don't care about bots!" blame eveyone for being\using a bot program! They ALWAYS complain and QQ about being legit or not! About who's playing fair and who's not etc, etc....
FFS, ppl! Drop it! Care about yourself, not about how legit or not smb. else is. if you are not satisfied with the game - /quit it for God's sake!
it's really funny saying that legit people QQ all the time when all recent "meaningful conversations" were started by either the rightful "90% of game community"(tm) that wants to legalize botting or people thrashtalking the game because they can't stand the grind.
Draconz, I heard from a GM recently! I informed them of an insulting comment made by someone else and they issued ME a warning and 5 point perma-penalty! Absolutely true (lol).
wait i know where all the gm's went they woke up one day to only find the same thing EVERYONE on both sides of the "BOT" discussion still qqing derailing posts and just complaining. so they all got together and had a mass suicide because they finally figured out that no matter what they seem to do it will never make any of the ungrateful players in lineage 2 happy.
how bout instead of crying and complaining how bout for once everyone just shut the hell up and enjoy the **** game or close ur account delete l2 forums from your browser and move the hell on. some of us really enjoy the game and have a great time playing with friends wich is really what mmo's are all about.

Agree, enjoy the game for what it is or move on. Same with the forums. I read the forums to get info or other peoples prespectives on certain classes or skill or to find out how things work (or just to keep from falling asleep at work). I DONT read the forums to get feedback from NCSoft about anything since I know they almost never respond to issues on the forums. I DONT read the forums to find out who is botting or not because I dont care.
If everybody on the server but me was botting and admitted it but I was still enjoying the game then I'm ok. If not a single person bots and I'm not having fun then I quit and find another game, it's really that simple for me. I dont let any other player, botter or not, dictate to me what my enjoyment of the game is.

As to draconz original comment...I do think the board quality has gone down recently and it would be nice to have a community manager who will take care of business.
Last time they get involved in the forums... things didnt went too well for NCSoft Staff...
They post intelligent comments, however they forgot that a lot of L2 community are people angry, with jobs, professionals, that can and will abuse any mistake from NCSoft staff to make fun of them, why because for a couple of years they have done nothing concerning cheating or at least thats the impression they gave to the whole L2 community, whatever thats true or not...
So I rather have them not post, and just Kilson once in awhile posting something related to the Game, than seen again the fiasco that happen with the Luna case, they try to get involved and guess what happen...
A GM should not post in the forums at all, unless he is a employee of NCSoft and wants to post specifically news concerning updates/bugs. Posting things like policies regarding banning/EULA is a mistake from their part. Why because only somebody who fully understand law should make a comment related to that area.
Any thread that is related to account issues should be delete (banning, etc), no questions ask, since there is an area for that kind of issues.
Moderating? Well they actually need to hire a full time Admin Forum guy. If I have understand something from previous experiences, is unless you are fully prepared to admin a whole site and have the dedication and time go for it, but if you lack either of the two, dont even try. Trying to put discipline once in a while is a mistake, and doesnt work at all, thats the main reason cops always have to arrest people in daily basis in order to put order, otherwise criminilaty increase.
Webmaster/Forum Admin ... I'm sure you would get some applications for that job. I'd apply for it :)
and you are right..any 'my account was banned' thread should be deleted without comment at all and threads that go way off topic in a negative direction should be locked. GM's should NOT comment on any specific cases but should chime in sometimes to let us know what is going on with the game as far as events, bug fixes, and things like that go.

That and they are to busy reactivating accounts "in good standing." What is "in good standing" anyway? Seriously. People that were banned for yachting are now back on Phoenix.

And its very funny that in all this event time not even ONCE a gm sayed somthing to us about the C....i mean we deserve a answer on this since it should had drop but never did. What for a awful support we got here on the forum these days from the gms.
The GM's probably got laid off cuz of the bad economy. :( At least we got the last update out before NCSOFT did the cost cutting tactics as they call it. Hope they find jobs fast cuz it's bad out there. Good luck ya'll .
