those who got 50+ '5' or 100 "II" / day , i am sure they are the bot users
my point is this kind of farming event are all for botters , not for regular users......... from this event even tough u play 5 hours/day, u get 1~2 stons maximum........and if u are one of users who using bot,,...yeah
u might got the AQ ring.......and i know those who buy adena from freaking bot company...yeah man go head.........say this event was great

Yeah, no fun for the rest of us because those **** bot users might get something. Shooting ourselves in the foot will show them who is boss around here. /sarcasm
Even on Monday, the last day, a 'II' or a '5' did drop from time to time.
One could (and still can) sell each for 10 million adena. Is this a joke?
Of course, if people want an event which gives everyone a Queen Ant, then yes, this event was a joke...
lol last day? i played for a week with my inventory full of junk and cause i could not play the last day to have the C, 5, II i got screwed. And like me i know lots of players.

i wanna get event hat badly, but i dont have much time to play because of exam this month
only play 1-2 hours a day
and all i get is 1x(II) and 2x(5)~ 2 bsoe and 3 potions, spit
I managed to get LineageII 4x and 5Years 2x; got SOE's and Juice boxes, I said WOW everytime!
I'll also mention how the event is treated like a quest, so if your inventory is full letters, you have to shuffle letters between your inventory and wh, just to turn them in, real PITA.
Yes but before they changed the event drops. Theres no comparision, the first 12 or was it 24hrs the event ran drops were golden, many II's and 5's, loads of the other letters; then it all changed and hardly anything dropped for the rest of the week no matter how long you played for.
I would prefer they just go on to the next event and we put this last one down as having had problems.
Personally I made some extra adena while leveling anyway so I like it more than the pig ones (where you have to use the bow to shoot hearts at pigs INSTEAD of leveling).

if they could make a ant queen ring untradable, then part of the problem will be fixed.
I just not sure how hard is for them to add epic item into the database and make it untradable and if NCSoft West has authorization to do such thing. I dont expect the Game Leader or Producer to be people with database skills, neither web skills at all, so things that could be simple for me, it could be a nightmare for them.

Would be nice if we could get it again with the C's this time around. I only grinded during the mornings after work (an hour or two) and I usually did get atleast one or two of the 5's or II's.
Then again I can't complain too much, I was one of the lucky AQ winners (got it within an hour or two of me starting the event last wednesday morning).

I can't see them doing that...how could the farmers sell them then. Those ring would be worthless to the adena sellers....and NC won't hurt their mainstream customers .

The problem with the random raid bosses is that they weren't random at all. They spawned in the same spots within 7 minutes of each other. If you were good, you could get 5 or 6 of them with one party and screw everyone else out of it. If you're going to have a random spawning it truly needs to be random.
Back on topic...
No to extending the letters event. It is hands down the worst event that comes from L2. There are too many letters cluttering up the inventory, the only good part about getting the letters is selling them, and unfortunately it favors AFK players more than anyone else.
If you want to have NCSoft do a fair event, it should be along the lines of this:
1) Non-tradeable event items drop from normal mobs.
2) No more than 3-6 different types of event items that drop
3) Make event items drop 90% of the time.
4) Make event items "finders keepers" just like herbs
5) If it's an event that requires you to turn in event items to NPC, only allow 5-10 turn-ins every 24 hours per account.
I was another lucky person to get an AQ from the event (on Bartz). I think that NC deciding to extend the event is a great thing. Hopefully more people will also get AQs and Orfens :)

I got only 25 "5" and 14 "c" during these 3 days... omg... that's not even close to what I got BEFORE the renewal of the event... :/
