Hello, i am a big green fat orc and i will like to know your opinion on Dyes for a Tyrant s grade.
Atm at lvl 80 i use +4 con -4dex , +1con -1 dex and +4str -4dex. i use drac armor and s grade fists ( health SA ). i like the big amount of HP/CP cuz of the damage i can handle, but i would like to know any other opinions on that.
I'm a baby Orc so i know not what i speak of...BUT...with the changes to the Totems it would seem to me that Dex is now an important component of the PvsE part of the game which we all have to suffer through.
I think Rubber Duck stated that HP + Specials are for PvsP and that Focus + speed is for PvsE. That advice still sounds pretty good to this inexperienced Orc ^^

Dex is indeed very important now. as is Con. however, nerfing STR to boost these two is inadviseable.
my setup now is +4str -2dex -2con.
it works quite well.
Dex does not need to be Boosted even though it is still an essential number; however i wouldnt nerf it as hard as i would have pre-gracia; in old times i had -10dex and suffered no quantifiable loss to any particular stat.
with the changes to Ogre (my new Favourite totem) i'd use Focus Fists for S grade. HP used to be essential because at 30% HP when Bison kicked in, you needed a significant HP pool - no longer the case. however Con now has a very noticeable impact on Carry Capacity so dont nerf it too much either.
Now I pvp more and find that +4str -2dex -2con is better.
Try to keep up with kiting archers/daggers at -4(or more) dex (just using forceblaster/force storm won't cut it)
Though I have to say a lvl80 GK that has completely nerfed his dex is either a bought/botted char (he has no idea to play the char) or is a total carebear that hasn't been in much pvp yet (not making accusations, as I couldn't care less if it WAS a bought/botted char)

or people who dont understand the concept of cripple.. -dex all the way. OE cripple takes like .10 at lvl 79 to get to +5 which always seems to land. wrong thread and I was right about my point and who the hell would come in here with lv 80 and ask for tyrant dyes setup
well they can cripple you too and even before you can do it to them LOL
oh god that extra 10 run speed is gonna make a HUGE difference.. so either way even with + dex guess what..they can slow you first! oh and its called reposte stance, not hard to tell when an archer is going to use Hamstring shot. And even if it does manage to land OH WHATS THIS?! Break Duress OH GOD!
you thought wrong =) You can aslo OE passives like agile movement for speed and fist mastery for atk speed so the only thing your missing from -dex is a few crit rate
im currently on +4 dex -5 str.. yup sucks balls i know.. but works fine for me :) on top of that im using rabbit totem.. im bloody fast and interrupt most pve attacks so thats all good :) still have plenty of str left :) im currently on NM light armor.. figured a lot of atkspd + vr effect on armor wud help out with the restoring of large amounts of dmg.. for now my theory on this seemed right so ill just keep going with it..
the only good advice i ever read on a making a build was: "just go with what you think is right for your class, and pwn with it. even if it would be the most **** build ever."

have you tried +4dex -5con? youll hit harder, and VR more back. youll fill up your smaller HP pool faster too.

actual yes i did... i changed to -str last night since w/o buffs i had a little amount of hp and fighting mobs 10 lvls higher then me wud suck then :P might give -con a go again.. since i just recieved a lv63 buffalo pet from a friend :) blessed body from pet wud sort the con problem

pure pve = +5 str +4 dex -9 con (tho i would not advise -con in any HB party)
pure pvp = +5 str +4 con -9 dex
balanced = +5 str -5 dex <-- thats what i use at lvl 79

Now my setup is -8 dex +4 str 4+con with S fist +9 health SA. Tons of HP ( 8.5k unbuffed with btb 6 11.9k and with cov 13.8k hp) and 4.2k CP... ( i am 79 lvl and i can bit d elf dagger 83 lvl full s80 equipment)
-8 dex and rabit (+25% atk speed) + gsap + fury i think is enough atk speed for pvp coz i use skills. This setup is based on HP
I have never use focus on fist so i dont know how it is! But if i had focus i would use +4 str +2 dex -6 con. So, a lot of dmg and good atk speed with more crit rate!!!

I believe that tyrant can also use Focus on fist. But in order to maximize the crit rate is extremely needed an AQ with +5 dex -4 con -1 str and be at least 79 lvl.
This is a good pvp setup based on Focus. ( i could have use it but i don't have the AQ :( )
Olympiad Ring gives same crit damage bonus as AQ. Maybe it's worth it to get to use even if only 30 day, and just buy your Giants Codexes from other people as you need them.
with -5 dex buffs rabbit zealot atk speed is at something like 1490 (ish)
oh thats with s80 armour so with drac you will still max attack speed.
imo +5 str always
I totally agree with slarty and pumuky. u dont need dex. Add 5 str and if u pvp 4 con and go -9 dex.I have only +5 str - 5 dex atm but +4 con -4 dex is highly reccomended for olympiad.Btw pumuky u are aoe beast in top fog cutie <33333
