OK, since you are reading this I assume I will not get flamed for starting another bot thread.
Last night in Varka (Sayha) there were so many bot teams that they were tripping over each other. I have never seen it this bad, seriously. I saw a 3 toon team actually standing at a spawn point and doing nothing but killing a single mob every time it spawned. Worse yet, these were mostly the "rude bots" that don't leave your targets or mobs you are currently fighting alone.
Impossible to get low ranking badges in this environment.
Need something else to make it even MORE absurd?
About 75% of the toons were tagged, mostly one clan but others as well. The tags even included one of my own, which I plan to have a chat with the clan leader about next time I see her. One of the tagged bots was a HERO for the love of all that is good in the world.
When you can't even get a single mob in plain view of the portsite and the mobs dominating the area aren't even concerned enough about getting caught to detag, you have a major problem.
At least my "favorite bot team" has the decency to hide in the back of the central canyon.
This thread will probably get lock, and the GM will not review the people you talking about it...
Varka in Sayha has always been a bot ground, it used to be own by some people that transfer to another server... aka Pheonix... you were lucky actually, last time I was there I got pked by some farm protector/lord or whatever is his name.
I recommend you just to stay away from them... they are people that belong to top clans in Sayha and will destroy you just because you caught them cheating... report them if you will but since they have been botting AFK there for centuries I dont think is like they will get banned really, since the GM that spend 5 years of his life in this game couldnt catch them in the act.
or you could hunt Ketra which typically has less bots because it has more obstacles for them to get stuck on. If you aren't going for level 5, it shouldn't matter.
Mae, I agree with you, it has gotten to the point of actually being comical.
I`m sorry but i have just about given up on this game after all these years of playing.
The economy is ruined by them, the hunting grounds ruined, even PvP and seiges.
Unless game designers get there head out of the sand and actually put GM`s ingame 24/7 policing the servers its not going to change.
As it stands right now it is a programmers game, the game programmers program into the game a way to stop the bots and the very next day the bot programmer adapts his code and is right back.
And we the players are the ones left holding the short end of the stick.
The game companies are still making money, the bot companies are still making money, so what the heck.
I have said it a million times since mmo`s started up:
You cannot cheat/bot around a set of human eyes, but it is a proven fact in a programmers war as most games are currently, that you can.
Had to ADD to this, it seems the bot programmers know more about the game coding then the company programmers do, SO why don`t the companies hire the bot programmers.

IMO, there is nothing wrong at all about this post in this section since it is a coummunity forum and this is a concen that many members of this community face every time they log in.
BUTsince it has been a problem for MANY YEARS I don't think we should classify this as a "problem" but rather as the game occuring as intended.
But after 4.5 years of this game here is how I think NCSoft feels about it:

so funny how many ppl will refuse to play aion because they know the ****** support and the experience how nc soft ****** up lineage 2
man in rl if u act like this ur boss would say hey tomorrow u have a free day and the day after tomorrow is free too and the next week and month ;)
i just log in for some % do some marketplaying aactually more fun than playing imho
just lame whole lineage concept is based on supporting secondary market walker was one of the best things that could happen to nc soft if u think only about $$$
