yeah granted the Letter event (minus the missing 'c') was a great money maker for some and a complete crash for others.
besides the boss jewels the best thing Ive EVER acaully seen come out of one of our events was a stage 13 cry.

Hell Ide take blessed enchants over Boss jewels anyday because of hier super rarity. Epic bosses spawn what anywhere between 5-7 days depending on the boss. (I think ant queen the lowest Epic there is is 5 days but I could be wrong on this) meaning that the jewel can be farmed once a week.
the chances of getting a BEWS off a raid is almost slim to none. According to wh Ct2.2 stats, Kernon was done 34 recorded times BEWS dropped once. thats the rarity. so Ide rather have it as an event price even if it was the top prize you could get.
On Teon we have special events Koreans don't get : currently it's "Up and Down". You visit the server while the mobs/NPCs aren't there.

I vote everybody gets this event, all servers should have the joy, letters drops are < up and down server event!
Really what's the use of complaining. In 5 years I've never seen anything come of stuff like this.
Imo the only thing you can do to show your displeasure is Quit and don't buy Aion or any other NC games. Then maybe they'll get it while they sit in the bread line and wonder where they went wrong.
We then can then tell them that we understand "their frustration" but its not like we didn't voice our opinion over and over and over again.
Korea Also has tons of EXP events that we don't get, They don't have the same insane gridn that we have, probaly the main reason they have a much larger player base also

The american player base can barely cover the costs of running the game much less develop content. For instance all the new continent stuff and new chronicles are basically all paid for by Korea, we just get the benefit of having them. Without Korea we would be at C1 forever.
This is a good lesson for all us Americans, about time we have to do something where other people are the key audience and we are the number 2. Korea will have better support, better events and better just about everything, if NA had the most subscribers (or even somewhere close) we could expect the same. Dont subscribe to the idea that just because you are a customer you deserve more than people who add a lot more revenue.

NcSoft NA/EU is still Ultimatly OWNED or FRANCHISED By/of NcSoft Korean (PlaNC) so in turn it should be the same across the board for event rewards for both areas regardless of player base. you also have to remeber they have what 4 servers or something like that compared to our what 8? (3 being Euro)
The EXP events they have I can acaully understand a bit since if I remebering hearing right they are only allowed something like 4 hrs a day to play where a we have the full 24.
Im not saying give us Every event that Korea has had, honestly some of them look lame :x Im jsut saying for good events Such as Metal event ect Give us the Ablitly to get the lvl 13+ crys, and Blessed Enchants. (as noted above in the Heavy metal event theres already lvl 13 crys)*Note the Heavy metal event is also one fo the yearly events we have jsut as the Letter event is*

QQ pew pew, we are carbon copies of korea in terms of bugs and updates, basically in every single aspect that is contrary to western play style but in the one area that we don't copy korea is the area where it would be extremely beneficial to us: THE EVENTS. It doesn't cost ncsoft any time or money to put up an event and yet we are lucky to get one once every 4 months. Hell, look at the latest events and their accompany graphic art. Photoshop filter clouds and something that looks like a 12 year old could of thrown together on a private server. We ain't talking high quality here folks. It must of been an act of god to get that April fools event to coincide with the korean version, that or a korean dev was visiting ncsoft at the time to inspect things so the folks at ncsoft actually "did work".
So, when you reply to me. Are you going to throw in some more mocking sarcasm or would anyone like to seriously explain to me why they hate fun so much and would get upset if an event was release with rewards relevant to the game's age and current content: emphasis on relevant.
Buff juices and buff scrolls became irrlevant the day 1-62 got newbie buffs and herbs started dropping off every single non-dungeon monster. Life stones became irrelevant (ie shouldn't be a high tier reward) when life accessorry stones were introduced and started dropping like candy. Elemental stones should of got knocked down to a more common teir event reward when elemental CRYSTALS got added THIS update. Scrolls of escape WERE NEVER AN EVENT REWARD BECAUSE NOBODY IN THEIR RIGHT MIND THINKS 1 OR 3 SCROLLS OF ESCAPE TO ANYWHERE, RETAIL VALUE 10K ADENA, WOULD EVER BE A GOOD IDEA. THOSE HARD CORE LVL 76 FORUM CASTLE SEIGERS WHO THINK THAT ONE USE JUSITFIES THOSe rewards are oh man that just makes me rage uncontrollably. I'm sorry. But you pretty much have to had never played lineage 2 in your entire life to think that's a good idea for an event reward. And finally, non-tradeable or shadow hats have no business being event rewards. This game is terrible when it comes to character customization. To fix this problem ncsoft added 50 different hats to the game files. In korea they have all more or less been released over the years. We however, seem to be stuck getting the same piggy and teddy bear hat or the FISHING craft hats as rewards over. and over. and over. and over. This is stupid.

honestly good, Korea and NcWest should have the same events (or close to the same) with same event awards if we have the 5th anneversary event NcKorea should as well jsut thiers would be at a different time then ours. If we have the heavy metal event so should Korea, we have the piggy event you have a lion (i think it was a lion or maybe a bear) event still same event consept.
the only events that shouldnt be the same are the ones for certain holidays, we have events for US holidays that Korea doesnt celebrate and Vice versa.
NcWest is PART of NcKorea (by franchise most likely). so imo is should be the same all around.
My only true Gripe on this wasnt the Events and obviously some people cant read or they would already know this. It is about the rewards.
If Korea doesnt have rewards such as Attribute Crystals and Boss jewels then they should have them, just as we should have the lvl 13-15 crystals and Blessed enchants.
for those that are continually falming people on Not getted Events then LEARN TO READ BEFORE POSTING! I have mentioned in one of my above posts that I think the NcWest is doing one hell of an awsome job getting events out to us in a timely and regular matter.
