I was surprised the other day that I was stun shoted by an archer and I thought "I'm dead"... before Gracia Final 2-3 crits and I was down... But for my surprise, I didn't die and actually managed to recover from stun and finish the job... does any1 has the values of the critical hit reduction on kamaels?? This is really interesting.

-5% critical rate and power. The info is available on your Light Armor Mastery. My guess is you were just lucky and the archer had a lousy crit spree.

I think I was definetely lucky... but I removed buffs so that decreased his crits a lot... but definetely lucky.

Yes , u were lucky, i always change my armor to maj set if an archer flags on me, and then he dies in around 5-20 sec :)))

Yeah you got lucky, I never miss killing a Kamael as an archer, thought when I play a Kamael, archers have to run like little pu... away from me > ).

I'm not afraid of any archer on 1vs1... I just hit painkiller and easily walk my way into their face to finish them off... have you faced a soulhound after gracia final?... however, mass pvp is where they reach full potential, and something to beware of.

archers is kinda one of the easiest enemies for me at least.
never died to one of those in oly, and in open pvp the only thing they actually do is kite, kite kite, die..

ofc ^^ doombringers are archer and mage killers... if you died against one in 1vs1 (in proper conditions) you should seriously reconsider your playstyle. Sometimes Soul barrier+Rush impact + disarm combo is all what you need.

But SoulHoudn playstyle is waaaay different... if you haven't done your sub, I recommend you to, you will have fun and see why archers are harder to Houndies than Doombringers... However in this update our playstyle has changed a lot to a pvp nuker/kiter... With blink reuse adjusted I don't die to daggers now ^^

When you play a SoulHound you always happy winning or loosing,I ve lost to a gladi but at that time I was extremely happy...next time I feared him-succeded o.0-kite kite kite r00t kite kite kite =D

Hehe right... with gladis you need to be very concentrated... if it's one on one, they will try to TSS on you... if you let them YOU ARE DEAD and can also be 1 shoted...

The thing is easy... you can beat the crap of any gladi if you have Painkiller or SS available. Just when you see the gladi coming and he's coming into range, use Painkiller, but don't attack until you see him using TSS (or use Painkiller IMMEDIATELY when you see him doing TSS) once it's over, cast vortex, Curse of divinity, steal buffs and by this time the gladi will be almost on top of you, there's when you need to blink... and just NUKE NUKE NUKE!!! and they are piece of cake ^^ I beat 2/3 a 78 gladi (1 using painkiller and the 2nd usind SwordShield, he beat me the 3er time when none of the skills were available)... in pvp our fast casting speed and average damaga mixed with de-targeting from range (unlike dagger that you can just use /nexttarget button when you see or hear the trick animation) your opponent has to click on you and it can be hard if you are kiting... Repeat this and their are dead. Remember to use steal divinity again as soon as it's available and blink every time he's reaching you. You don't even need to cast Deathmark on them anymore, but if you do it once and it lands it¡s a great help ^^

I have another trick, got a fear augment that has a chance of triggering on every magic I cast... so debuffin the target and nuking them may also give me the advantage of the gladi/titan/gk or whatever opponent run away scared while I keep nuking (usually end up killing them by that timt) so if you can land fear wether it's from Dark Flame or an Item skill it's just soooo sweeeeet ^^
