The 5th Anniversary Event (http://www.lineage2.com/archive/2009/04/5th_anniversary.html) that recently began did not cooperate as it should have, so we have decided to extend the event! The letters that dropped from monsters in Aden and Gracia will begin dropping again by 2:00 PM Central Time Friday, May 8th and will continue until maintenance begins on Tuesday, May 12th.
The Event NPC's will still be removed from the game during maintenance on Tuesday, May 12th, so be sure you exchange all of the words you've collected before the servers are brought down.
Well aatleast dont start it until you fixed problem with Teon. its bin crashing for 1 week now and you stil lstart even before you even fixed the darn server from crashing. I call that bad management for sure.

somehow i get even 1 crap letter like every 500 mobs :(
i managed to get 4 x I 2x R 4x N in 4 hours nonstop pulling 50+ mobs in ABG and best is i havent noticed that letter drop again for like 2 hours lol, then i was like wtf, a "I" ^^
seems drops so downrated thats not worth to hunt for...

funny thing. I've got a lot of C, II, 5 today about 10 hours ago. then I went to town to restock and фаеук resuming the same exp and I only got the common letters for a few buff rounds, longer than at the first time.
so I guess people started farming again and rare letters' drop rate fell to the ground again. gotta play at that time again tomorrow :)
nah ... C/II/5 are still rarer than the others, drop rates are the same, you ll get enough spare letters
I beg to differ, in the hour I played this morning I got 2 C's, 2 5's, 3 II's. On the other hand I only have 2 L's and got absolutely no R's.
Hopefully I can get some regular letters as well since I deleted mine after the original event ended. Cant get any now though is I am at work for a bit.

ummm i been saving my letters for a week until event is over...now the npcs are gone. For every other event you guys leave the npc for a couple days. How do I turn these in?

Alot of people don't come to this website very often (myself included). Every single other event has had npc's for a week after event is over. It was logical to assume they would do the same this time.
actually last week was AFTER the event which lasted only 1 week before :) so npcs stayed in the game like in those other events.
only quirk is that they decided to resume letters drop in last days with C dropping, which was useless anyway since it was giving small mineral box like II. but stones market is ruined (or fixed, depends where you exp) anyway so it is not too important :)
