now i know how ****** people get....I was switching from my sub to main and putting gear in my WH..i go back to get it out and its gone....i checked my wh, cwh and inventory like 10 times..nothing...................i did a support ticket petition ingame and no answer..really **** u ncsoft **** u moxie **** u ******* ******s. GOOD INGAME SUPPORT
Sad to admit, but the new staff has been acting way below the already low expectations. They seem not to be answering at all, they just come in to censor forum threads, but leave the botters ingame freely and are not being community active...
trust me i checked the cwh about 10 times and checked all my toons freight. THE GM SAID it was in my inventory and told me to do a check file but still nothing.....
A couple of updates ago ther was a problem with stuff not showing up in inventory. You had to hit the TAB button to make it appear. Not sure if that is any help, but give it a try. Otherwise maybe sacrifice a chicken :P . This being the weekend may not get much help hopefully by Monday, things will be fixed.
Same thing happend to me the other day....But I gave up after waiting some 3 hrs for support. Good thing is was just a FP armor set, nothing too major.
Seams to me like things are going down hill fast after Spam left.
re-checked wh,cwh,inventory/freights, nothing. tryed teleing to goddard/track/giran, nothing. checked my inventory like every 10min nothing...ran another check file and the items flashed in my inventory then dissapeared again. another gm answered and said they will e-mail me..so lets see.....
tryed tab a few times, nothing. yea taz i wouldnt care if it was C grade stuff but this stuff was B grade armor/jewels (dont rele care) but also a +7 soul bow ;(
I can see how missing a +7 SB would make my panties crawl up my butt crack too.
I just hope this isn't going to turn into one of thoes common bugs untill the next update. It would suck having to wait days each time stuff from you WH goes missing. Hope they get your stuff back to you very soon.

I fixed it..no thx to NCfail...heres wat ya do taz..put everything in ur inventory into ur wh then click the auto arrange button in ur inventory and bam..it appears.

I fixed it..no thx to NCfail...heres wat ya do taz..put everything in ur inventory into ur wh then click the auto arrange button in ur inventory and bam..it appears.
You see the little scroll bar in your inventory? Click and drag it down, and you get it see what you usually dont see when you just open the inventory! Your inventory was obviously close to full and when you put the first stuff into your WH and pressed auto-arrange, it brought the stuff 'hidden' on the bottom to the top!!!!!

O so I guess if you can't find the door handle on a door some one should take the time and show your Grown *** were it is :p

Plus, anyone doing support generally needs to start with the obvious. It's just how it is. I've been doing software support in one form or another professionally for over 20 years. What is obvious to one person is not obvious to another.

same thing happen to some one I know he could not find his wolf gear and check all his toon and inventory and wh 3 or 4 times. I walk right over 2 his computer open the inventory scroll it down and poof there is was. no auto crap needed.

The scroll bar doesn't fix the problem. When my FB armor went poof the first thing I did was scroll up and down. It just wasn't being shown at all. Restart and most other tricks did not fix it. But when I did put everything off my toon into the WH and clicked the auto arrange botton it showed up again. I am 100% sure that it was not being shown at all before.
I believe you. It's rare but it's happened to me once in the past ... I picked something up off the ground but it wasn't in my inventory. Even after I did auto-arrange and scrolled up and down fully etc etc.
A log out/log back in 'fixed' it. Basically, the item IS there, the GMs can see it's there, but the icon isn't rendering properly in your inventory window. Hence why the GM told you to do a check files and other stuff like that.
So stuff like this can happen, although it is relatively rare. ~Most~ times things go missing though it is just someone who forgot to scroll down to the bottom of the inventory.
Frankly the whole inventory management in L2 is shockingly bad. You can supposedly arrange things in your inventory now by dragging them around, but I find that only works for a while and then you suddenly find one time when you open it that BAM, everything's been rearranged for you for no apparent reason.
It could have been a legit bug, there are just a few people in these forums that mean well but come across as pompus when attempting to legitimize the problems they read about in the forums...
Also, as far as the GM's go, I haven't seen any transcripts or screenshots of the conversations you've had with them so I don't know how you approached them or how they approached you. My best guess is that you approached them screaming mad -- and they answered you with a canned response and then closed out the petition on you.
Whether he was stupid for not clicking the arrange button or not (aka finding the door knob, as it has come to be known in this thread apparantly) the GM should have taken the time to speak with him and assure him that even if it was really missing, they would be able to fix it since it was a technical issue.

It's just how it is." It's the absolute truth, and often the first contact with a support rep will dictate how the rest of the conversation will go. If NCNA ever contracted me to whip their community department into shape there would be a few tense meetings between myself and the CS Lead on day 1 ;) LOL
Its funny that you blame ncsoft and use offensive language..and in the end it was your own stupitidy that you couldnt fix it sooner... :rolleyes:
Next time I would say, try first to solve the problem before making posts like that.
Theres a command that brings up your inventory...Alt something or other. I was once told by a GM (yes 3-4 years ago there were live GMs in game) there was only one true way of seeing what you had in Inventory and that was it. I did what he told me and the stuff i couldn't find appeared. I believe it was a full elven jewel set...lol i so so upset when i couldn't find it.
I've reported the description of the issue, as well as the fix to our QA Team.
However, I'm locking this thread, as it's pretty bad from the start. When issues like these occur, please try to keep the posts constructive. This is an issue that could've been discussed civilly, but it started with flames and continued down the flaming path. There's no reason this thread had to be this way.
