ok so some people might know that when you or in normal stance you have your skills oe'd like +8 shield stun etc and +'d panther.

now when you switch into vanguard stance your oe'd skill go back to 0 such as the panther and judgment etc,you lose all your +'s in vanguard mode

it has always been this way, same applies to inquisitor by the way.
Vanguard/Inquisitor skills are not linked to your main class skills. For example, a DA will have dark panther available in vanguard even if he has never learned the skill, and his vanguard skill will level with him even if he doesn't bother to level the skill at the npc.
