This is good to know. I was afraid I just had a high level brick. I may look into some raids.
As for rarity... I can understand. SWS depends heavily on parties to level efficiently. Soloing is possible, but infinitely slower. And for PvP... you all you can do is arrest and fear... maybe take down some mages on your own, but that's it.
The one benefit I remember that I was able to reach 3rd class faster than others, because of the parties I was able to get into. But at the end of the day I just had a high level main class that others are probably boxing anyway. And the intesity and interest sort of died. But if it's still useful, I'll take her out to play every now and then :).
playing a sws myself, i can say that they've become really usefull for all high-level groups, be it an exp party, a raid group or a pvp party, in all cases, a sws will be more than welcomed... friends have been inviting me to party them ever since i got in range, i.e. 20lvls less than the highest of them so even when i didnt hit anything, I'd make the grinding much easier with by adding earth/hunter songs to their list of bufs... and now that i'm in a nice clan, I always have groups to join...
for the 'solo' bits, if you can get a buffer and a great wolf, you shouldnt get any problems to kite 2x~3x hp mobs...
You'll be wanted in pretty much all end game raid/PvP parties after you get 77. Remember to enchant Song of Vitality to at least +3 for time or higher, else you'll destroy your MP pool trying to keep the song up with a BD in party.
I can't lvl my main because everyone want my SwM sub.. ><
luckily i dont like my main that much compered to my SwM sub nowadays :D... I'm sure clannies wouldnt mind having me on SR tho if I ever decide to get him a more decent lvl :D
