Too many crashes when someone puts on or takes off a cape. This is really getting to be a pain. Also, usually, when I try to log back in after crashing, I get a Game Guard error, usually 1014, and I have to reboot my computer before I can log back in successfully. I'd say this happens 3 out of 4 times.
This update is so buggy. I'm hoping Korea is on top of the fixes.
Some People are 84 lvl....OMG.... I wan't te believe in the buttom of my heart, but I can't... it's just impossible.... 84 lvl? WOW.....
If u played regulary since C1 u would be 84 now too... New ppl that are 80+ now are just botters.
doesn't really matter much when you started playing since the lvl cap was 75 till what c4? and you can do 0-75 in a couple weeks now

Could you make sure this is submitted as a support ticket so it can be sent properly to the QA Team for research? Include as much detail as you can and the method in which you can reproduce the crash. Please be sure to include your crash report as well.
You guys are off on a level-envy tangent. The problem is that when you are STANDING by someone with a cape that takes it off and on, you are dc'd. Not the person with the cape... but the people around them.

People with the Cape can DC too. This has been happening a few times on Phoenix as well.
well as long as you have s80 armor you can wear the cape even with grade penalty, so most people shouldn't have a problem being able to CTD other people.

I had sent in a couple support tickets, and got the standard reply that it was me :D and my crash report was in the support ticket. So I will send another through with my reports.

Please be sure to note that the crash is affecting other players around you as well.

I've been playing since beta and I'm only 80 (supposedly a fast leveling class, lol).
According to my estimations, at least 80% of lvl 82+ people are botters, and the rest are very special individuals that can spend 10+ hours a day in perfect parties xping in a few selected locations where no one else can get.

Hellbound XP is pretty Disgusting now with Stigma, lol.
Level 80 is praised as being an easy level simply because level 79 is pure torture, and anything after it is easy ^^
Aconyte can only estimate, I suppose, at the lvl 82's so assumes they are almost all botters. I achieved level 83+ by a regular evening Tully's party and not 10+ hours a day. With the mobs producing 120k+ xp per kill, yes, it is possible to do that with regular playing.
This was before Final, when daggers and their lethal's ruled the place. It has now been "fixed" (drat) and what Jyrki says is true. Parties no longer have to have 2-3 daggers in them in order to hunt there.
The SE has finally got something that people are now shouting for SE in a party. Now, they jsut gotta work on the PP.

Not all players will be around where the cape is equipped, so it never will affect all players.
... no it was 75 until c4. Then got changed to 80 in c5.

c4 level cap was 78 (when 3rd class was introduced)

If player A started in prelude and player B started in c4, theoretically end of c4 both could be 78 lvl. I was just debunking that other guy's idea that unless your char was created back in 04 you can't be over 80
Yah, apparently, from further conversations, it seems to be connected to the ATI Radeon graphics cards.... although one person has an Nvidia one, all else that I asked after I crashed them :D told me they had ATI.

PPS btw, didn't crash anyone on purpose... just following Support instructions on drivers and testing to see if I crashed or not.... just to be clear!!!!
Poor Harkon. He plays with a bunch of pretty inept people. I've only played since the beginning of C3 and I'm 83. I know a bunch of people that are 80+ that are also legit.

you misunderstood my statement. Saying that it was 75 UNTIL c4 indicates that once c4 hit, it changed.
I have a 9800 GTX and I have not crashed yet wearing my cape.
Next time you put it on, watch around you and see if anyone around you magically loggs off. When they return, ask them if they crashed.
Right now, if I put mine on I no longer crash, but people around me do.
Our Development team is aware of the issue you have reported regarding the new cape feature. However, our Game Masters (GMs) are unable to provide a workaround at this time. Once a fix has been completed and tested, it will be made available in a future patch to the game.
