An Eternity of Waiting

Hey guys, I was a massive Lineage 2 fan about 2-3 years ago, but then sadly i uninstalled to make room for other games. I've decided to return to the game, and using my C1 discs, i installed the game (2004). Do you guys have any idea how long it will take for all the patches to download? They have been downloading for well over 20 hours, and it looks about 40%. Are there any ways to download it faster? Also, what has changed since i left about 2-3 years ago? Good to be back guys, and hopefully in 30 + hours? I'll see you in game Xd

huuu?? Go download the game from file planet or the other link lineage2.com page offers you. I don't got the best net but at a low activity h i got the game in like 2,5 h's when gracia final update come. So stop wasting your time with the normal game update.

Hmm, yeah i thought about DLing that but i figured it might take the same amount since it still has to patch, but evidentally not. Thanks.

Hmm... there does appear to be a minor problem, my download manager says the download is gonna take 20 hours. This is from fileplanet. Are there any other super fast mirrors? 40 kb/s

Fileplanet is a POS unless you pay for it. Just go to Filefront and find the kamael PTS and patch that.

Filefront is just about as slow with 70 kb/s, i guess i could just wait that long but its a little excessive..Does anyone know any other ways that could get me playing in less than a full day of downloading..

Hmm, interesting solutions. Fileplanet is just too incredibly slow with my download manager telling me its gonna take 100 hours+, so ill just let this old game patch, hopefully it won't take too long, but its almost there xD.
