I will type some responses from my support to ncsoft regarding suddenly no reason bannings and stuff. With an update of today only 30 min ago:
where I had Zariche and got "zapped" instant kill when i was doing a raid after being d/c many times forced D/C by GM???
It will be a lot of text so those not intrested dont read, those that know me from Sayha please read and care we got "botter loving" gm's atm... Who try to ruin me + clan...
And i cannot do nothing. Nor can anyone on this server, but maybe if we combine we can get rid of these crooked gm's !!!

I still dont get how it was lost but i usually logout and the pet logout with me. I guess that went wrong so next time i will be sure to dismiss.
Regarding another thing, it appears many legit people have been banned. I lead small clan on Sayha which focusses on fun gameplay. Hence we got no reason to cheat or bot like many others. However it really stresses me out when i dont see people getting banned who have been botting in hellbound for months. Like Renovatio who switched to phoenix. Regardless of what I think it appears to a large group that GM is favouring certain people.
Some farmers dont get banned and botters, yet i lost many legit friends who their account just is being closed.
Mainly since they complain alot about the game and botters.
Farmers = guy who bots in corner and leaves everyone alone.
Botter = guy who bots and griefs poeple and talk crap.
I hate botters more then farmers, but my main question is. That with the updates and everything treats to the game should be removed, botters. Farmers you cannot get rid of anymore unfortunatly. I simply request that ncsoft changes their policy and tries to be like Blizzard who run the game for the PLAYERS and not the botters/farmers.
I hope you understand my position, as GMsandbad sad the people who have been done wrong by ncsoft will repetition. Since he told me we should try it, people have faith in me and due to GMsandbag i will have faith once more in support. I hope support can start banning the botters and farmers and not players which complain.
I can say troughout my 5 years i have seen 10+ legit players banned who constantly reported botters/farmers, and complained about GM service. I understand that each GM tries their best, but sometimes doing your best is not enough. I per example am a closed beta player i never received my unique ID. Many of my friends switched provider and lost their unique id and original info, the method of validating real owners should be updated too. IF i get hacked now i cannot recall my account which i have been playing on for over 5 years and thats sad. I hope this mail sends a message that service level need to improve if ncsoft wants to compete in the future with other companies, since people just dont play aion because its ncsoft (iam one of them). Sad but true statements, i hope you dear GM reader will try to get the message a frustrated/sad legit level 10 clanleader sends to you.

PS i love the game and players that why it frustrates me even more when good legit players get banned for no reason. Like my friend returns 7 months inactive, activates his account 1 day later he is banned and he never left town. He got banned for sitting in town, while many bot afk in hellbound for months. That really sends a bad signal i believe to my clan and the legit people, botters and farmers are laughing at us being legit... that frustrates me too, they admit using bots and nothing happens...

Second Gaia my friend seems to have received some word from support so that is covered. I hope that will work out since he still has alot of love and friends in the game and they are ready to /quit if he stays banned :(
Third I have read your statements and text and i agree. I do not wish to know anything regarding your methods. The wolf thing also understandable, like I told SandBag I did not know logging out was not auto dismiss. Now I know it will not happen again. I will try to inform as many players who do the same as I did to not do that anymore.
Forth my friend who was playing a toon named s0ra on sieghardt, got his account banned for using 3rd party programs (he was told he got banned for botting - which he didnt). He tried to contact your company by phone (at that time), but technical support can only be obtained via the billing department / the ticket support method on your website. His tickets get closed automatically without even being read so he cannot get any support. The same is said for many other friends I have and had. Support seems to autoclose the petition/support so they cannot even receive a support ticket / help.
Even my own real life cousin got banned a long time ago because he was cursing at gm's regarding bots (in garden of the beast it is called now). He was being bad egg by using foul language towards a GM. He went off and complained etc. and was just angry that week about the game. I did lecture him about that, after a week he got banned and auto-close his petition, he gave up contacting suppport. In fact I gave up on it too, he now plays WoW and hates ncsoft. It makes me so incredibly sad to see support perform so poorly when it comes to making the right call. It makes customers and good people quit and play something which is LESS just because they harbor bad feelings towards ncsoft(support).
I really believe in you cheat = bann, like you would cheat in a FPS game or RTS game. You get caught very fast and easy, 1 person makes a replay of you cheating and its obvious in a replay and thats it your done. In lineage2 alot of people bot and cheat and get away with it, thats reality. I play for over 5 years daily and iam not noble even because I help others. That is my choice, but when I help a person and they get banned for "no" reason. It affects me too (i lost time + a friend), it drops my morale to even continue. As the status is now I am very close on dropping the game with my entire dutch crew which is leading InnerSphere on Sayha (majority of my clan will aswell), me and my friends tried to better this game for 5 years since beta. My energy is reaching its end my friend Vegabond. It is like pouring water on a hot plate. Each bad egg you remove 2 take its place it seems.
As far as I know about my friend s0ra, he told me he admitted using a zoom enhancing program (but he did not know this was not allowed since many players post online videos with that and still played - the so called top pvpers in catalyst), and sharing his account with one person he said. I can name various clans who bot and share ALL accounts.
This is a game where people bond, a lot of people, even though it is forbidden, share their account. I can personally say that I am most likely the most active clanleader on the server so my view is reliable on the matter. You can't possibly ban everyone who has been or is doing that... I have couples playing both have 2 toons, sometimes when the wife is not home, the husband logs in the toon to craft something per example. That is account sharing, that is a bannable offence, is banning the toons of that couple the right call. In terms of rules YES, in my terms NO. I am not in power so what I think is irrelevant to ncsoft, I hope not to you Vagabond and you can change that a bit or at least bend the rules. Iam scared to let one of my real life friends login my toon due to the fact I can get banned for that, while other enemy clans 10 different people login all toons. The whole account sharing thing is to me shady, I agree account sharing = not acceptable but for a couple that has 3 accounts 1 for guy 1 for girlfriend 1 support = bann 3 accounts because 2 people use the support? I really do not believe that is a good call.
That player s0ra was an open/closed beta player, he helped better the game, hardcore player and never used any bot program to play. He used that text for damage which you now implemented in the new window, he used a trick so you can zoom more or something BUT never ever did he CHEAT (bot) or do anything bad.
I believe people deserve to be punished, but i also believe in second chances. Look at all the people who bot afk in hellbound for months, and months, and they're all still here! I have been ANTI-BOT / GRIEF for a long time I still am as you can see my petitions and opinion. I cannot use bot report since all the bots I am in war with so i gotta do manual /gm and type and i get auto reply or something back. Eventually it grows to you and you become indifferent.
Currently my whole clan is reaching that stage and it is really sad, people are giving up. I have seen ALOT of good people quit the last months. The fact my clan and I contact ncsoft now is due the fact 1 more person who we 100% vouch for = good person and did not even leave town got banned. Ok he got banned for whatever reason, still I do not see the point in banning people who do not cheat and basicly abide the rules JUST because they complain.
All of my friends who went to WoW dont ever wanna touch a ncsoft game how good it will be, and that in itself is a problem. NCsoft is being associated as "racist/discrimination" against legit players. The game is really hard yet, the onces on top are botted toons.
I cannot talk to everyone I know but I will try to make as many as I can to repetition for their accounts, I believe its in the best intrest of the player and ncsoft to actually respond and do something for the customers. I do not view a cheater(botter) or farmer as a customer, they ruin the game the real players.

I understand, regarding the Gaia toon the support still never replied its been 2 days.
As I stated and I know you cannot agree with me due to NCsoft policy, the fact accounts are being shared is a FACT. Like I give example husband and wife + 1 support = both login the toon does that mean they deserve to be banned, according to ncsoft yes. According to me definitly no!
I hope that Gaia issue will be resolved soon, people are losing their temper. As am I, regarding the accounts. People do it without thinking of the punishment, but i really believe that banning legit players for accountsharing = sad thing. Botters bot afk and stay. I just find the punishment for some certain players too harsh, and it is because the support does not treat humanly it is even more sad. So what a wife and husband share 1 support toon, is it that bad they deserved to be banned. As i stated before i dont agree with that.
But i will await status from Gaia he is wiating 2 days now, can u please update that ticket or make someone "work" on it. This istaking too long for a "FALSE" banning...

I am upset about many things, so yeah I told you my cousin got banned cuz he cursed at GM. Fine fair enough, but now 1 returning clannie gets banned for no reason, we mass petition to try to get him back. GF for banning more accounts of my clan for no reason as you did earlier. Also always support claims 3rd party program, to ncsoft anything is 3rd party program. G15, ventrilo, teamspeak, STEAM? I heard many people get banned for runnign steam in the background and its detected as 3rd party program. Thats just sad, farmers and botters = not bann legit people who run steam in background = bann...
I have votes this week to see what my clan does, you are talking about the biggest clan on sayha who actually is good people instead of ALWAYS bad people in charge of server. The votes will decide what we do, I just feel like expressing this so perhaps you can learn for the future. If this gets pulled in Aion then that game is doomed too.
Also what is the phone number for support, since i believe e-tickets like this are not being taken serious. It's most likely a big joke to you guys that we lose friends and stuff. I cannot give name but one of the guys you just banned lost his child in birth and you its totally inhumane and sick that gm's just like to grief people. GM's are supposed to make the game better not ruin people and clans.
So I would like to get a reponse out of support just too confirm the crooked stance of support. Losing such a leading clan which keeps players ingame might not affect you now, but in future it will. Negative talks on forums about ncsoft = not good. One of my friends works at a big game magazine. Surely he will opt to write something about this and it wont be good...

I have been playing since beta as you guys can see, I got friends in every clan on Sayha.
Also the clan is not my clan, everyone knows I don't tell people what to do and what not to do. I run stuff fairly and democratic, i dont even count my own vote at stuff going on.
I made the clan for fun, lately we have been target of GM griefing.
Last 2 weeks. Iam very close on quitting / dropping this whole NCSOFT stuff.
Even if my clan tries to stop me, I cannot stand by and see good players get OWNED while next room is full bot party.
It is ******ed you have GM's that have to help grief the "players" and leave the "cheaters".
To my knowledge and best ability i have been since in beta out there helping players the best way i can.
Been in clans helped them there here everywhere, our stuff has been stolen(hacked) and GM's didnt do nothing. Lost accounts many things, including friends and time...
If I go down I will go down with my head held up high, not noble 78 after 5 years+ of playing Ghost sentinel... I hope those that read will try to assist me and my clan in various acts we do to try and better this game. If i go down, i go down myself my choice my place of death. It is not an offense to use Vent or any other voice program. I can assure you that your clan members were not told they were banned for using Ventrilo by Lineage II Support. When we close an account for "Third Party Programs" it is for using bots or some other **** program like L2Radar, L2Divine, and L2Sniffer.
So chat away! Vent and TS are not violations.

This is from a PM I got from Spam back in November. Although he is no longer a GM anymore, I find it *extremely* hard to believe that any GM would attempt to ban a player for using VOIP software. Not only is it specifically stated by an NCsoft employee that it is alright, but that has yes to be overturned. On top of that, given the number of players who use vent (At least 90%) if it became a bannable offense, nearly the entire player base would be destroyed for using software which the EULA (yes, I have taken the time to read it, and I do scan it on a weekly basis for changes) does not mention either specifically, or generically.
With all of that being said, we do have new GM's and they do deserve our patience and respect while they try to take over the GMing that has been run for so long by others.

I had gm porting me also and was yelling at him to stop. But accourding to ncsoft the gm tried to contact me lol. Then they cover there *** and wont discuss anything without an attourney. These Gms are killing the game. Most are cashing out. The funny thing is Nc soft actually thinks people will move to there new game after there treatment of 5 year customers here lol. Another corrupt thing i had clannie banned. Low and behold untagged toon was selling his gear 2 days later. Unless theres and abundance of plus 7 FB 150 dark swords and tezzas around.

outing GM's on corruption is a dangerous thing to be doing....
if it's true, look for the game to shut down completely. i mean, who would want to play a game where the GM's are known to be corrupt? who would advertise such a game? who wouldnt apply to BE a gm after this goes down? NC would be flooded with apps.
if it isnt... this just doesnt look good for you, friend.
so what happens now? if your post is BALEETED (which it very well may be) you'll just become even more sore; the general population wont know, and your efforts will be in vain.
if they are legit, and leave this open until a public inquiry is made and reported, you'll get only the satisfaction that a new GM (who will likely be just as corrupt as the last, and 10x as inept and unkowledgeable) take his place.

-You lost your wolf because you forgot to feed it.
-While getting your wolf back you tell us that there are a lot of botters and that GMs do nothing. (Except ban innocent people.)
-The GM says we hunt bots all the time and that if you want us to check specific bots to use the bot report button. (And that we only ban accounts we test. If they fail they are banned.)
-The next day GM Vagabond is out bot hunting and runs across some of your clannies botting. Instead of banning them right then, he contacted you so you could see them. He teleported you to them and showed you the bot test. THEY FAILED.
What was the first thing you asked the GM after you saw them fail? Do you remember that? You asked if you could have their equipment because it was clan equipment.
Are you kidding me? Really? Now you are going to come on the forums and say the GMs are corrupt? The GM felt sorry for you and tried to show you what we were up against. You want us to stop botting and you didn’t even know you had botters in your clan.
I am not a mod here anymore so I can only pray this thread is not deleted; but please do not come here and start spreading rumors when you know they are false.
Oh, and a GM did not D/C you or insta-kill you. Sounds like you have lag problem. Make a tech support ticket.

Well i got fraps of 2 gm's stating when i ask for vent = 3rd party that say yes...
Iam not out to discredit you SPAM. Stuff like typing in shout prior to paradygm clanleader per example ur account is gonna get banned so he can tranfer clan + stuff thats just terrible.
Look iam not out to discredit people not even my enemies, its just i can say i find some people on autorez MANY times in the last month 1000+ kills when i was present so they still there O.O
The methods the support uses is not up to date, i mean go giran = instant spam about buy adena and stuff. Iam not complaining against YOU spam or any other GM in particular.
Iam complaining about GENERAL game related issues. Regarding and wolf: The GM in question made a comment he can bann people or give my wolf back or something i remember that very well. Even after receiving it I did say thank you + on the support e-ticket system right.
And I will say it again, thank you for returning my wolf. I did not realise it was lost i always just logout. It has been explained and thats why i know now.

Lets be realistic here, there is a problem with adena sellers and bots. I understand GM's are doing their best to stop it. But its not working effectively enough, thats my opinion.
Also the replies I sometimes get when i ask for a GM to come look after i killed a enemy on autorez 300+ -> just come look plz i ask = auto response that just sad.

What buggs me is all the other rooms had bots in them and they were still there. Look Spam iam not here to cause troubles or grief you or anyone. I see a common problem which by current means is not sufficient to resolve. We gave up on /gm and reporting our enemy bots since it dont help. I think alot of players feel the same way, if players get more help and not always an auto response it will help and boost morale.
Stuff like seeing a particular clan botting non stop afk in hellbound they in full s80 gear doesnt help to believe either, that a good job is being done. Why dont we just all try to think and better the game? Iam trying to open a discussion were we try to better the game.

Do you have any idea how many GM's there would need to be to ban ALL of the bots? You have any idea how large the game world is? And how long it would take to run through all of it and test them?
Good for you that you found some bots. Report them and move on, unless you are at war with them, then just start farming rep for your clan. At least you can try to help them find all the bots.

Corrupt and unfair? Only unfair to the customers in that it's inadequate, I highly doubt there's any corruption.
People come on the forums and they complain about innocent people being banned, they complain that no one in their clan bots, they claim that all the bots are running around untouched except for them who got banned even though they weren't botting, or they were in Iraq and their brother was playing their game...
People will stop at nothing to try to look innocent and take a shot at the reputation of NCSoft support... They do a pretty good job at making a fool of themselves without someone slandering them with lies.

people who get banned for botting are 99.9% botting for sure. It's extremely easy to see the difference between someone who is botting and who is not, so I really don't believe anyone when they say they got banned unfairly. and LOL @ gungrave.

In all that is said, lets all work together for the future and not complain about past to make the best out of the game. We play for fun not to be griefed or sad.
Hence I will take the losses as they are and stop and focus on the future. So working for the future will result in more happy faces !!!

i think best testing for the gms ,would be starting off with testing heroes . i mean rly look at the lvl/gear difference between ppl .. then and really as topeins said , u can barely move into catacombs without seeing one room not used by farmers/bots

Short story:
-You lost your wolf because you forgot to feed it.
-While getting your wolf back you tell us that there are a lot of botters and that GMs do nothing. (Except ban innocent people.)
-The GM says we hunt bots all the time and that if you want us to check specific bots to use the bot report button. (And that we only ban accounts we test. If they fail they are banned.)
-The next day GM Vagabond is out bot hunting and runs across some of your clannies botting. Instead of banning them right then, he contacted you so you could see them. He teleported you to them and showed you the bot test. THEY FAILED.
What was the first thing you asked the GM after you saw them fail? Do you remember that? You asked if you could have their equipment because it was clan equipment.
Are you kidding me? Really? Now you are going to come on the forums and say the GMs are corrupt? The GM felt sorry for you and tried to show you what we were up against. You want us to stop botting and you didn’t even know you had botters in your clan.
I am not a mod here anymore so I can only pray this thread is not deleted; but please do not come here and start spreading rumors when you know they are false.
Oh, and a GM did not D/C you or insta-kill you. Sounds like you have lag problem. Make a tech support ticket.
