tyrant or spellhowler for new player in l2

i am trying to decide which class to play...tyrant or spellhowler...i am gonna lvl the toon alone don;t have buffer and i want to pvp mostly later...what lvls does spellhowler is getting good cause at 46 is really sucky...

Use search. THis is the 10th thread like this in 2 weeks, and may even be same title as another one.

It depence how you like to play. Do you like hand to hand combat, or do you like ranged combat?

But indeed, use search, millions of anwsers you will find there..

Both will level quickly. The SH through the 50's (all things being equal) will level faster than the Tyrant but not by much.

Depending upon your choices the SH may be a bit cheaper to outfit up to A-grade.

The SH is pretty boring up to A-grade.

Both are fine choices. If you like melee--pic orc. If you like casting--pic Spellhowler (darkwizard).

As a melee guy, I've been enjoying the SH recently just running it up from 40-53....very, very fast leveling solo with newbie buffs. I know the tyrant is fast as well though.

As for "I want to PvP later"--you won't be doing PvP until well into your 70's. And you will take forever to reach that if you plan to play "mostly solo without a buffer" as you noted in your OP. 2 bits of advice:
1) L2 is a SOCIAL game and works best with wide cooperation among players--particularly as you get higher.
2) You will have to kill a godzillion mobs PvE before you ever PvP--don't hit anyone unless you are okay getting rolled, at least until you hit about 75 :)
