i admit it doesnt seem to be working alot.. but i HAVE noticed it work quite a few times. but the fact its 8 seconds really bites. and yea.. patch notes is why i even came to log in on this forum. .. and i find a thread asking for patch notes.. aye aye aye...
They are increasing The Security on The Servers and adding a new program which automates/validates who is using a third party software and logs all accounts and sends it to the GMs Much like Punkbuster. In addition they are adding a new/old technique in which they can scan your ram and detect your system for any suspicious third party software much like warden.

in my opinion we are given opportunity to write server maintenance notes our self :) page is not updated since gracia final release i think....

We are around and reading! Yes, it's a Holiday weekend for us. To answer the OP, the images on the website were updated last week. We know the website is not currently updated (maintenance section) and we dislike that as much as anyone. It is a long process, but it is definitely one of our priorities.
I appreciate all of the concern expressed in this thread, but the doom talk is not accurate or necessary. We aren't going anywhere, Lineage 2 isn't going anywhere, and we are working on many things to improve the game/community/website.

Look at the freight npc in the wh, he has new items to buy (stage 11 to 15 soul crystals and lifestones, for "event cubic pieces"). New event coming up?

they managed to lose the little graphic icons for all 3 of the olympiad warrior jewels! or maybe its a planned game feature !! xD P.S. just found that stage 10 red soul crystal graphic is missing also, was wondering what that black hole in my inventory was >>
Im hoping the 1 hp rez has been fixed, along with the limitations of entering the Seed of Destruction and/or using the agathion to collect stones has been properly adjusted.

You 're confusing shield deflect magic (the pre74 skill) with deflect magic (the 81 skill)
I hope they fixed that 'break' in the map running twards goddard from varka port, also off WoA port. Its just a massive hole in the map i fall into everytime i run around there :)

you dont know anything, they randomly update gameguard files and nothing changes
considering I got both skills, trust me I know what I m talking about. You are basing your assumptions on what works based on how it worked on the pts where both skills are free, on live afaik there's only 2 tanks that have deflect magic.
I hope that people will fall off the boat...crash...and explode :/

Anyway, I'm assuming they're probably trying to fix some bugs and whatnot, like the kinds mentioned in this thread (among countless others). I can't really hope for much without knocking on wood. Don't want to jinx it, hehe...

The only thing patches do is drive my firewall nuts.

Your server maintenance never takes this long to update nor does it change as many files as this one. so my guess is you fixed some problems so why dont you update your main website its never been a problem before?

I have this glitch too, all of my level "Red" soul crystals are now invisible since the patch lol :p In my inventory, warehouse and a trade window you can't see the red ones at all but they are there, you can move them, pull from wh or trade them but they stay invisible lol :/ All my other soul crystals show as normal. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
You have to feed a summoned-up cow like at the Beast Farm, then you get Cow Coins, which you can exchange against Crystal Fragments for which you get, if you pay aditional adena, Soul Crystals and Life Stones.

Yes,,, I am getting the same. My red crystals look invisible now after the patch update. I even tried to throw them on the floor and pick them up, but they still invisible. Also, if you go to the Olympiad manager and try to buy the jewelry with Olympiad tokens,,,, they are invisible too :S.

Im getting constant glithces and flashes of screen in Giran. Restarted game but didnt help... maybe ill have to start playing with versions of graphics drivers :\
they also removed the annoying: "you are carefully knocking an arrow" text everytime you shoot with a bow or crossbow

Anyway I agree with what was said before. People complain too much...especially with updates and events. Goodness gracious if I was a GM I'd put everyone on time out for being so whiny!
Some of the glitches, etc. frustrate me a bit but I'm going to keep playing the game and keep my complaining to a minimum...because after all it *is* just a game. And I love it. ;)
