Before update everything was fine, now I am getting a lot of graphic glitches on both my computers. I know there is like .0001% i can get any kind of legitimate responce from ncsoft about this, but when your screen turns to weird colors after 5min of playing what else can i do?
i have also graphic bugs since update. i also cant see soul crystals in my inventory and warehouse, i can see item details when i click on the empty slot where the soul cry was, but cant see the item icon. also FAT lags at every 3-5 clicks.
maybe it was some kind of downgrade and no upgrade?^^
I have a Phenom II 940 / AMD 790GX / Nvidia 8800GTX combo running XPx64 that has been wigging out/crashing ever since the 6/2 update. I need to pull the card and test it in another computer, but I really don't think the card is at fault, and I already tried going to the latest WHQL nvidia drivers, still have the issue.
Honestly though, this should be in the Support Forum, not General Discussion.
"this isn't working and NC sucks"
"did you try xxxxx"
"it's not that"
"did you try xxxyyy"
"you are dumb"

some people just don't wanna listen. I guess they didn't listen to their parents when they were giving out people skills and respect either.
-my 2p worth, and flameproof suit at the ready, as I'm sure the OP will have something equally useful to say
Its not the card or the drivers because they both work fine with every other program and game that I have. They worked fine with L2 up until the update. The drivers for video cards do not get updated that often and I checked anyway, I have the latest version. The videocard itself is pretty new, and one of the best on the market today, so it is not an outdated hardware performance issue. So, when some guy posts out of his *** stuff like "hey its your video card or the drivers", the only responce I can post back is that he is dumb.
On the issue of graphical glitches, anyone having massive texture gaps in places like Varkas? An example is the mountains not far for the port spot; there is a giant 'cut' all the way across them where there is nothingness.

Yes, got it after update.

Same, and have seen other funky graphic issues.
To all the people saying fix this or fix that on your computer, errmm.. All the latest, freshest, shiny drivers in the world will not fix questionable game programming and faulty world modeling.
Fortunately, no show-stoppers for me yet... other than my toon falling through the game world at the "Varka Gap"

yes you are right, it isn't your drivers or graphics card...it's your head it's something wrong with.

Also seen that gap out at talking island running the whole length of the island; going from east to west.
You mean that was what the map update was? Update to nothing?
they updated the ground textures at some locations like HS and Fantacy Island and maybe some other locations to, but didn't fix the aligment between 2 texture areas
