Good news. I do think it's pretty high priced and Im not sure why that is justified. But I know many that are happy about it. Good thing my choice for main originally is something I really like to play!! Save myself $50 !!
What about the kamael? Can they change between different sex classes?
Assuming that they're going to handle it the same way they handled it a year ago in that one-month-free-event, Kamael can switch their class, but if you as a male Kamael change your main class to Arby, you'll become female. Same for Zerkers.

75... or higher on main class. Plus the quests.

- Your actual main class and subclass have to be somewhere between 75 and 80.100%
- You can't have WS or OL subs(Maestro and Domi included)
- Kamaels will get sex changed for free.. if they change from a male/female main to a female/male class.
- Your inv needs to have less than 80 items in it

I would have thought so, logically you couldnt have a main of say 61, and a sub of 75, so a swap like this would need to be 75/75 at least to ensure your new main *could have* done the sub quest - which incidentally is so much easier for the new kids now - one of my clannies got his 30 bloodied fabrics in less than an hour

Nobody is saying they should list all currencies. But anyone with a little sense of economy knows that most of the currency arround the world floats from 50 ~100 % compared to the dollar. Make some calcs based in $14,00, it gives a doable price even for people that is in the 100% range. Now make the same calc for $50,00 plus the taxes and you will see that this turns into a heavy cost that will prevent lots of players arround the world to use the service.
Olympiad Points? - What happens to them? Do they get Wiped/kept?
Subclass Skills? - What happens to them? Are they Automatically removed & you get the Skill books back? Are we forced to pay the 10mil to get them removed, and get new books?
Divine Transformations? - Since they are already learned, what happens to them? Are they removed from what would be your new subclass, since you would be changing mains? (If your 8x)
81+ Skills already learned? - Do they get removed once you change your main to a subclass because in theory you cannot have an 81+ Subclass? Do they stay? Etc.
so my sub is lvl 75 and my main is lvl 79... if i change them i have to xp my new main up to 79 again?? and pay 30 euros for that?? no ty!

THIS IS NOT changing classes if NCSoft offered to change classes pay service for $50 say from a BH to a EE on the same toon that’s changing classes and it would be worth it.
Heck some of us would pay $100 to change our toon’s classes

Exactly. The levels of the classes do NOT change, the service just changes which one is sub and which is main. The xp you have on main/sub is tied to the class, not to the "main" "sub1" "sub2" slot. So if you have a 80 nuker main and a 76 archer sub, your archer won't magically lvl up to 80 if you make it into your new main, it will stay 76.
I never thought this was very confusing, but it seems that for many people it is.

You need to be pretty much already a Noble to do this. If you have only a 77 Char, and 40 Sub, I would reccomend getting yourself either another account, and just make the Bishop, or reroll into a Bishop. Isn't worth leveling all the way to 75 on Bishop, to then Main Change. Just start the Bishop over again.

What is the problem if the levels of your classes stay exactly the same? If you prefer playing your 75 sub right now so much that you think about changing it to your main class, why not continue playing it after you switch it to main?

hey lets all grind a titan to 80 as main and sub a class that is pain in the *** to lvl and lets get it to 75 so that we can boost it 5 lvls to 80 and then lvl our titan to 80 again then switch main back to titan and lvl another class to 75 so that we can boost it 5 lvls to.

If I am going to pay $50.00, I want to switch a Maestro main with a sub. There is no reason to limit WS and OL like this. A paid service should apply across the baord.

Some people will just whine no matter what happens. If you give them a ten dollar bill they will whine about it not being a $20. No wonder NC uses auto-responses! What decent human would want to work as a GM and have to deal with people like we see complaining on these boards.

They did bother to level the **** thing to 75+ (+sub) in the first place, I see no problem in allowing them to change tbh, no matter the game usual "rules". If you want, go ahead, level a WS/OL to 75+ and then change sub to main (if it would allow them to change too)...
I don't see any good/use or sense in not allowing it, makes no sense whatsoever.
At least the DE/LE bit has some lore attached to it, but even that is BS since DE and LE are not at war at all now and besides, this is not a "faction war" mmo.

It is pricey, I agree, but in the end it's a small(ish) financial effort if you really need/want to change.
Considering you don't want to change it for a bunch of characters, then the thing gets really ugly, yeah.
Can you blame a capitalist company from wanting to make "easy" cash ? I don't. :( (as much as I want to, since I like free/cheap stuff that hopefully is also good.. but then again "cheap and good" rarely applies to most services/products (just a thought, don't go into details :p))

The only reason this was turned into a service, is because of the overwhelming demand for it again, and the fact that almost everyone said they would be willing to pay for this service.
No one is forcing anyone to do it, and honestly, they did it free before, so why not again? Because where do you draw the line? Let's say they did it again, and then introduced it as a Service, we would have the same complaints again. At least they put their foot down, and named a price and are Firm on it. The writing was on the wall with the price, and I highly doubt anyone was surprised it was the cost it was...
The price is fair, and no one is forcing anyone to do it.
It feels like NCsoft is involving real money more and more to the game. It wouldnt suprise me if we can buy adena and items from NCstore in the near future.

before someone says ... if you apply for the change and you have more than 80 items in your inventory it won't give you a toon to choose from and say invalid. you need to clean your inventory out not just before maintenance but also when you apply

For us europeans its 29.99€ and i still think it is a expensice service. Well but anyway better than wow, where you need to buy every new expension which is about 39€ - 49€ and here we download them for free. So yeah, maybe this account service is useful for some and for other less...like me :p

The Kamael have unique occupations that are tied directly to a character's gender, so when you change a Kamael character's class, the gender also changes automatically to conform to the class. You cant change to judicator as a main class....the only three classes for kameal are trickster, soulhound and doombringer. Those are the only 3 that can be heros. The judicator as the message says is subclass ONLY and cannot be used as a main class.
Oh nevermind..I read your post wrong....yeah you should be able to switch between trickster and doombringer and get a gender change in there also...you have all the other requirements met? IE main class not over 80 but > 75, subclass over 75 ...etc, etc?
i got it fixed. i found out when you apply the serial code you also have to be on main class and under 80 items. i thought that you only needed to do that before the next server maintenance

The requirements are funny. I wonder why they are even that way. That is probably what's wrong with the that poster. He is over inventory or on a sub and trying to do the change.
It still sucks to pay and have to wait a week to get it done, though. Especially if this happens to someone who is waiting at 99/100% in 80 on sub to ding 81 :P

80% was introduced as a hot-fix for the quest "grim collector" in gludio (if i remember right, it took them at last one chronicle to "fix" that quest after they shut it down because someone found a way to cheat with that quest) ... well thats long ago, but since that day we have that anoying 80% rule.

The service is Working, just because it's not working for you does not mean it's not working. Your the ONLY person I have heard of having any issue with this service so far. Relax.
