So, Im stuck on leveling my Dwarf or my Khamel as my first character.. I want to be a Gatherer so was thinking of Dwarf BH.. but then i thought they are mostly gatherers so can they do damage at all?
Then i was thinking Berserker but not sure lol
Next.. Were do i go to quest after i did the Hills of Gold quest for the newbie zone? is there like a secondary (12+) area?
Scavangers aren't bad. Just not exactly the highest mark when it comes to DD. They're more for spoiling and aoe parties.
WSs I hear are quite fun because of their insane amounts of health, pets, and buffs. (A ws in my guild has 10k+ hp, and his tats are -2 con x:)
Beserkers I don't know much about, but from what I can tell they're destroyers Kameal style.
As for leveling zones, if you pull up your map, you can get an idea of zones that are actually for your level. It's quite handy :].

Soulshots makes you deal a significant amount of extra damage per hit. For newer characters they can feel quite expensive, but you kill and level MUCH faster.
You're generally best off having 3k-5k+ of them in your inventory, putting them on your hot bar and right clicking it so they're automatically used.
If you're trying to be frugal you can skip them, but it makes leveling much much slower.
NG soulshots and D grade soulshots are rather cheap.
Well if u wanna make a Damage Dealing Class u can go Berserker if u want ! Other nice melee classes will be
Treasure Hunters *Human Daggers* ,
Gladiator *Dual Sword User* ,
Tyrants *Orc Fist weapon user* ,
ofc u can make a Archer they hurt too ^^ but i think u wanted to go meele!
Soulshots??? U can put Soulshots in ur ShortBar and auto aktivate them with a rightclick! They boost ur AttackPower ! Make sure u use Soulshots everytime! There are Soulshots in NG *No Grade* ,D , C , B , A and S grade ! U can only use Soulshots with same Grade as the weapon is !!!
There are Spiritshots too , but those are for magic use !
Well for Newbie quest u go to ur Newbie Guide in the Starter town !
Well tbh i want a melee class with a 2 hander thats has a kickass animation for the skills lol...
But then again i also want a crafter..
And want to have something i can enjoy playing and benefit others...

Well berserkers do have pretty cool animations. Our charges look pretty ******* badass.
The damage that bersekers can put out is incredible as well. @41 now I can tear through alligator island with just a +3 berserk blade [focus], often times I can kill the 2x mobs in a stun duration from my shoulder charge.
Crafters are great to make money and all but if you're interested in PvP I would look somewhere else to be honest. Well, warsmith summons aren't terrible really, but bounty hunters aren't very useful in PvP.

U want 2 sword *Dual Swords* go Gladiator ! Human Warrior --> Gladiator ! Nice animations and skills are "pretty" strong ! Even the good skills come at Level 56+!! Well Sonic Rage 78 but lets not talk about that now !!!
