which summoner better for fastest XP?

i have come to the point where i can now sub and was wanting to sub a summoner. Which summoner can lvl the fastest? and when i say lvl the fastest...i mean solo. with no buffer

I think it is warsmith, because you can hit with your golem, i can hit with my phantom summoner, but she is not strong like my warsmith :)

Warlock is probably fastest to XP - strong melee and archer/dagger parties at later levels will be great XP.

Elemental summoner XP is great when AoEing but the game forces you to melee with pony way too often which really slows down the xp.

Phantom summoner is probably the slowest but I could be wrong as I don't have much experience with the class.

For pure solo summoner, nothing beats the PS, you can go just about anywhere with it after 52. Shadow will be your best friend until you get nightshade :D

+1 best xp character there is!!

Shadow XP Drain is 30% until 6x levels, or so.

Nightshade damage output is not that great and TBH the surviveability is often not needed.

The PS does have a nuke, though, but I guess it depends on how exactly you want to level. The Nuke doesn't scale at the higher levels and in places where there are Dark Resist MOBs.

I vote ES. Fast and easy.

If you have a buffer or two, I'd definitely go ES :P

I haven't gotten an invite to an Archer Party at low level on Warlock since Interlude.

At high levels people either solo with OOP buffers or they have Attributed Weapons that allow a group to level easily without Warlock Buffs.

The buff is still great, but it's just not as great as it used to be because gear is so much better these days.

Technically any summoner can solo, but you have to do herb spots, since you have no oop buffer for VR buff.

Warlock has the strongest summons patk wise.

PS has the best pure solo pet, and also the best cubic combo.

ES has magnus at 79, which kinda beats all the rest, but 79 seems to be very far away for the OP.

MoS is also easy thanks to the Dark Attribute, but any Summoner can equip a Dark Mace and do practically the same thing.

ToI 10th MOBs are blue to a 78+ character.

11th is still good, but the place is still easy, and balanced for characters that have no attribute P.Atk/Resist. Same for MoS.

The IoP/Chromatic MOBs are another story, though :P

ToI 10th must be mindnumbingly boring, though, cause those MOBs are just WAY too easy for a character that level with that kinda gear, especially a summoner. There aren't even enough MOBs to keep you occupied with that kinda stuff.

I tried it on my Arcana lord on her selfbuffs with a 25 wind arcana about 2 months ago, and she could most likely solo there on that. Dont even wanna see what I do there now that my arcana is 150 wind.

It's easier soloing than gathering a group. Unless you have a really really good group, it's faster too.
But any party with 4-6 DDs(physical damage) and rest buffers can switch out 1 DD for WL and get more damage

Mos is the best spot for PS cose it's the only Summoner that can hit Divine mobs up to 16-20k dmg in AOE... And that is due to the Dark atrtibute related Aoe nuke the 79lvl summon has...

ES has Aoe nuke that has the same power as PS's but it is Water related...

Wlc has no Nuke... so he can just kill mobs 1 at a time...

I have spectral master dont worry i know than she have better summon than my golem, but the difference it is my dwarf can hit with his polearm when my golem aggro 10 mobs and if my golem die, my dwarf can defend herself, with my ps is more complicate if my summon die :)

Es has a near "spamable" nuke so has a place in a mage PvE party and in PvP just UD and nuke the heck out of several players using one button....

For PS i dont see any use at all... mb in some mixed ""PVE"" parties playing the role of the debuffer w/ his mass cubic...( Needs to be OEe cubic ) and w/ the stackable wind shackle from his summon... but none of this is a Factor in End game PvE tbh...
PvP... well mb w/ a +30 Nightshade PS can play the "rush Tank" using mass hate... but unfortunatly NC didnt give any "target lock" ability to this hate... All others though have 2-3 sec target lock :D

Yes cause M.Crits with Servitor WIT is something to construct a suitable damage calculation. Right.

Any Summoner can equip a dark mace and plow MOBs in MoS, and a 79+ ES with 150+ Water Mace can even AoE there if they want - I've seen it.

However, there are better places for them to level.

It doesn't change much.

ES is better in PvE than PS. It's far easier and faster to level. This has more to do with how easy it is to keep you Servitor alive, and how much DPS or XP you have to sacrifice for it. Getting to 79 will be faster on an ES than on a PS. There is almost no comparison unless the player behind the character just doesn't have a clue on how to control it, or where to level.

ES scale equally well at 79+.

Elemental Summoners are easy-mod PvE, and their 77 Prophecy complements their abilities more than a PS.

AoEing is not a niche thing, you just have to know what you're doing.

After playing around on my roomate's ES, I don't even want to play my Warlock anymore. It's excessively boring to play compared to the ES, not to mention it levels slower. I don't see how a PS would level faster than a Warlock with equivalent buffs. There is nothing pre-78 that should be so difficult that you are forced to pull out a Nightshade or use a Shadow. They are pretty much on par with each other, but an ES is above both of them, IMO.

At 79+ things change, but an ES is still > a PS for PvE.

I dunno why you're just starting to cry now. PS has always been the ******* chile of the Summoner Archetype, kinda like the Elf Archer, Elf Dagger, Sorc, and Prophet is to their archetypes... A bit late, eh?

so far i have found it very nice to use my great wolf (lvl 56) in place of my summon and it is working out great. sevitor heal and buffs work on my wolf as well :P

So what attribute are servitors anyway. Says you need the correct attribute for it to work with them, but i don't see anywhere where it says what is the "correct" attribute.

only if u want the servitors nukes more powerfull otherwise any attribute works and they get 80% of the power from it and u the 20%

I have also 73 PS, and having 150 element wont make the death spike worth using. Especially if you have the 79 summon, which will have way more matk than you ever will.

Even if your summon is 100 x more strongest than you, is stop you to hit the mobs with your summon ??

Why would someone wanna hit the mobs with the summoner if they are aoeing?

And no, my element isnt dark, but ive seen the dmg death spike does with a SOM, and you can actually calculate how much 150 dark adds.

And there are spots where I dont even melee along side the cat on my arcana lord also.

It's still a damage boost. Just because it isn't as uber as you'd like it doesn't mean it isn't.

You summon gets 80% of the Attribute which should be an incredible damage boost for it (like 40% or so?). You are a Summoner.

The other player is right, play you class for what it is, and stop complaining about low dmg on a nuke that isn't even your primary source of dmg. Death Spike is there to supplement the dmg you do with your servitor, not to give you impressive nuke and m.crit dmg.

If you do not think it's worth the MP, it's pretty simple: Don't use it.

Arguing on the forums about it won't change anything. It's not like Summoners have to spam heals at those levels, anyways (outside of AoEing).

Personally I think all summoners should have 1 weaker nuke. All of them.
As I see it now it's only a small escape nuke when loosing your pet for some reason or another.
In any case I don't see why they gave the nuke to PS only, is there a sense in it ? *scratches head*

an augment nuke does more dmg then the deathspike (high power) higher reuse tho

and what vikobe still doesnt understand coz he doesnt read ppl's post b4 replying ur nuke only gains 20% of the 150 or w/e attribute on ur weapon while aoeing in MoS its better to save the mp for ur summon then doing 1k ish dmg

Personally i think all summoners should have Self buffs like clarity/WM-btb/bts EM and Wlc get from their summons
