So last night I spent 3 hours to get 5 pollen and traded one in for a seed. Then I spent another hour this afternoon until I got one more. Planted the seed and got a king squash on the first try. Lucky me I thought, until I busted it open and got 2 regular Enchant Armor: D grade. I wish I could find the right string of expletives to explain how frustrating this event is, I don't even consider it an event anymore and now plan on selling any more pollen I get to try to at least make a little money off this. I know some people have said that it's at least better than nothing, but I would rather have nothing than to have gotten excited about a new event only to have one as dissapointing as this one has become. I just came back to L2 from about a year break and was looking forward to an event to help me get back into the game. Silly me, I should have known better.
And yes, I know that there is already a post about the event, but it's been beat to death and I needed somewhere to vent.

I spent 4 hours killing 2x hp mobs and got 3 large cloned seeds, 4 cloned seeds, and 81 nectars. Could be better I assume.
In any case, I don't expect to get anything out of this event other than the usual bunch of A-crystals (which I store in wh) and QHP (which I am not going to sell because I think I may need them for pvp some day, but I never use them in pvp either, because I'm too greedy for that).
So, this event seems as useless to me as usual... the only good events are those which give SA crystals or other expensive items as *guaranteed* rewards (once you've collected a certain number of items). Whereas the neverending saga of the Korean Random ("collect 3000000 of event items and take a 0.0000000001% chance to obtain something good") is getting boring after a while.

There's a difference between a complaint and an observation. If the event was anything near what we were led to believe it would be, I don't believe anyone would have a problem. If they intend to give us a mediocre event, then announce it as a mediocre event and nobody will be surprised. Although I do concede your point that NCSoft gives us more than we need; the support, online GM's, and mismatched copy and paste content from Korea has been overwhelming.
You don't have to worry about drop rates. There are plenty of Farmer Bots with tons of Nectors that they got without putting hardly any effort forth at all that are ready to sell as many of them as fools want to buy.
Hey it will only cost you on average 2.5 million to buy 50 Nectors for a shot at a couple D,C, or if your very lucky B Weapon enchants. B Weapon enchants are already dropping to close to just 1 million each in the stores.
Bottom line is this event should have dropped tons of 11 and 12 stage Soul Crystal Cubits to breath some life back into the A grade market. That was what I was hoping for. That way newer players could have afforded to either craft, or buy clean A grade again. You can't even craft A grade anymore because people are selling their A Grade +3 weapons with the SA already on for the price of the stage 11, or 12 Soul Crystal on it which means you basically get the weapon and x3 enchants for free.
This event evidently was designed for the Bot Farmers to have even more adena to sell to the companies so regular players can go E-Bay what they need to afford their S and S-80 grade equipment.

People complain because events are mostly sh*t as it is, and when this insanely low drop rate, coupled with insanely low chance to get anything even remotely useful kicks in, ..... people are bound to get p*ssed.
I don't complain tbh, events are a bonus where I might or might not get something good. I don't go crazy over them or buy event items or whatever. I do however find it funny that "our" ncsoft seems to mess up events so often and are so slow to react.
Latest update from the Phoinex Servor on Drop Results involving a Stage 12 Cubic.
Person went through about x20 Large Seeds and x30 small seeds and got a total of x8 Emporors out of the total of x50.
He got the Stage 12 Soul Crystal cubic on his last Emperor.
I personally was helping 2 other people with their Squash in the Church a little while ago. We got x5 Emperors out of about x20 large seeds. None of those x5 Emperors got better than x4 A crystals and a couple of B armor enchants plus the various other pots and C and D armor enchants.
The assessment I can make from all of this is the Nectors are simply not worth paying more than 10k each.
Unfortunately people have paid as much as 80k to 100k for them although the price for them has come down to 40k on average for each Nector on Phoinex. Even at 10k a piece your probably going to lose, but at least you have a shot at it. At a cost of 10k each it will cost 550k a pop to buy a Large seed and grow it up.
I am not that excited about this event nor I complain about it. It is there and good if you get something good - that is how I take it.
Still, the Santa Event and the Gatekeeper event were the best ones so far and many people participated and actually enjoyed it. I hope the same kind off event types will be implemented more often.
