yeah i'd say it's pretty much a dead class
everyone has a lvl 70 crafter alt (i myself use my friends lvl 70 dorf to craft) and anything we get past third class is pretty much copy and pasted from other classes minus the actual good skills
BH isn't really too far behind though, i'm sure a few came out of retirement to grab a few siguel pieces but they prolly just went back to hiding under a rock as soon as the first bot shop popped up with a few thousand of em

My main is a maestro too, and i think i havent almost played
it in a year now, always on my subs...
that's one of the harsh parts if u liked u'r char for so long
and then u sub, and u like u'r subs better
but hey u'r a maestro and u cant change...
the game makers in korea, i sometimes dont get them
what's the harm in subbing a maestro or an overlord
too powerfull ? um, geuss too weak more like it
they din't want annyone to suffer the same burden of leveling a

yea those were the days, when AOE still existed for everyone
now only a few lucky, or big clans wit ha ton of out of party buffers
can still have the luxury of AOE
i dont get why they nerfed AOE, too fast xp ?

and no matter what u do everything is slow past 79...
Still doing over 1 % a day, but to make 1 level still takes me
over 100 days, that's too long...
this is a real time game, things shouldnt take this long

Not all dorfs are dead... I am a live sayha maestro main, of an ancient breed of seigheart pole-dwarf, I may be the last surviving member of my lineage as many were lost when the collision of the great realms of the past which became the sayha we all know and dispize today :P granted im a "lowbie" a 5 yr old lvl 78 ... much of my time has been spent buying/selling/crafting/afk ... when I grind I tuck my head and grind and currently I am grinding subclasses for my passives....

O and PS, anyone who says dorfs cant pvp have really never played a dorf very hard, yes its hit or miss occasionally but if your set up right... a Dorf can Topple MANY classes, granted our skills deck aint very deep, but we hit hard, we stun well, and we have a ridiculous amount of HP, I started killing S80's when I was 76 w/ no OE skills.

I see this thread has moved from Maestro to all-dwarves topic, thus I wanna give my contribute. =)
Atm I'm mostly exploiting my SD sub to lvl up my boxed Shillien Saint and get her PoW. But my dwarven spirit boils beneath my skin!! XD
I started my main to earn money, pure avidness, but then I got fond of him and tried to raise no matter the difficulties. Being dwarf and euro on a mostly US server when noob buffs cap lvl is 40 is nothing I recommend you to try out. ^^
So I decided to make up a boxed toon, Sashelen (a SE), to give me at least VR along with the help of GSAPs. Got a wolf to help me too. But wasnt enough, after lvl 60. So I went for a second box, Enkhrala (a PP), to give me some improved buffs. And got another wolf. It took me totally like 3 years to get to lvl 67, with some breaks along the way! >.<
In short: now I'm a lvl 76FS/77SD + 78 Fenrir, 77SS + 74 Fenrir, 76Hiero + 74 Fenrir. When I solo my SD to lvl up my SS, all I need is Merhos with me and I'm a shredder, especially in SV. When I go for spoils, then I three-box all of my Fenrirs to provide some real firepower!! ^o^
Oh, no no, sorry, I must've explained it a bit confusedly: in SV I go as SD + Fenrir 78 with oop Hiero and in-pty SS (overkill just the same ^^). And just to lvl up my SS. =)
In HS, when I go there to spoil, I'm FS, thus no uber dances, and so I use all of my wolves together to make the thing fast enough....well, tbh it's even faster than SD+Fenrir78! >.<
Btw, why you say I cant control them properly? If it's about the youtube clip, that one's pretty old, by now. ^^
And yep, still on one PC as I'm still playing in my very small bed-room... =p
But I think this set up is just the right one, given my way to three-box, for I need to switch to my boxes continuosly and very quickly; multiple PCs would be madness, I'd have to move my hands for and back to each keyboard all the time, and Alt-Tabbing wouldnt be a great idea, as I need to keep my eyes on oop boxes' status to be sure they're not dying. =o
I used to play SK+BD+WC+EE when I was lvling my SK sub.
WC and EE dont really need to do much, and WC was on same comp as EE but "behind" it, so I could heal from that computer if needed.
Both SK and BD hit. F1-F4 was assist macro for bd, F5-F8 was the dance macro. So as you can see, you wouldnt really have to hit the right key, just any key of the four.
That was the fastest way I could lvl my Tank at the time. My wolf was too high for the tank at the time, the tank wouldnt have gotten any good exp at all.
After about a day or two, you get into the rythm of clicking the second keyboard.
Switching windows as much as you do would annoy me, especially on mobs that dont take very long to kill.
On my spoiler, when I do end up playing it, I dont mind bringing my lvl 80 wolf regardless of how little exp I get. I dont play BH to lvl it fast, but rather to get as much materials as possible.

Well, when I go to spoil in HS, I like to kill as fast as possible to avoid stuns, so 3 wolves is my best choice since as FS I'm not really a DD: I could have a hard time moving my hands for and back all the time for each single mob. =p
But I see your point, when buffers dont have much to do, it's senseless to worry about window switching speed and infact I dont use more than 1 wolf at a time, when I'm facing mobs very easy to kill. =o
And yet I use my SS as healer too, with purify, greater heal and bless the blood thus....well, once again would be annoying to move for and back to the other PC. I use her to heal, recharge, stigma, assist with wolf....too many actions, I couldnt exploit your "one action full strip" solution. =p
Same here, I'd love my FS class to stay 76 forever for growing in lvl would only force me to move to higher areas, where I could have not the same good spoils. =)
I guessed it, but my "elbowroom" still is too few even for 2 keyboards, I can barely work on moving my keyboard aside when I play and need some more room for my mouse movements. =p
Can you really keep your eyes on all of the three screens at once? Or you mostly rely on sounds, to know if something's wrong with your boxes? =o
With a bigger room I'd probably give multiple PCs a try! =D
I play without sounds, so I can hear ppl on vent/spotify etc.
But I also have my screens set up for panoramic view, so they are all next to eachother.
Most of the time I have all toons in party with eachother, if one gets attacked I would notice their hp go down.
Main toon screen is straight in front of me, the other 2 screns are a little bit turned and in peripheral view. I need only move my head a bit to watch the entire screen on left or right hand side.
Wow! Now I just have to buy two monitors as I already have all the PCs I need! And a bigger house, of course!! ^^
Anyway, going back to the topic: anybody else who wants to tell us his own opinion/story on dwarves being a disregarded and unlawfully exploited race? This thing started as a Maestro "memento", but now we're just a mix of both classes....heck, "both"! We dwarves are the only race with just two straight paths for our possible careers. =p
Give us more credit, we're great people!!! >.<
My main its a spoiler with 2 subclass skills and I do enjoy to pvp on my main, sometimes i win sometimes i lose miserably, the second one happens more often. The trick is that the dorf its always the last man standing on the field we can get some pvp kills as long as our target does not out-level us, out-gear us and if they don't have stun resist epics, i can even win equally geared daggers remember we can carry tons of cp pots and QHP they will run out of mana before they get us. and if stun lands even once they can say good bye
I like pvp on a dwarf because its hard and you always go against the odds and the few times that you get a kill you feel dammed good about it
Dwarves are ok for pve, I just wouldnt play one in pvp.
They're okay in pvp, just...meh lol. I use my golem as a distraction to most classes because like every summoner class, the strength is 9 times out of 10 in the summon itself, not the summoner. It's an unorthodox class to pvp in because people don't know how to fight it, and if it's 3+ vs 3+, target choices for a dwarf are different than every other class because of their damage output, and without epics, that makes it a bit worse. In pve soloing they aren't bad if you single target and OE your stuns because they save you in a pinch (give you a hint for those that didn't know...OE your Stun Attack too ;D) In aoe, get an olympiad jewel or just one jewel with VR, DC buffer with COV, and you're pretty much set if you have a pole that is elemented for the weakness of the mobs in the area.
Dwarf isn't really last man standing so much as it's the most commonly overlooked (lol height joke)...more like last man cared about. In pvp's I've been in, though, whether I glowed or not, people kinda did the "fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me" thing where they ignored me the first time, then realized I was the only thing that could perma-stun, so I was first target. Hopefully when stun resist cap drops like it was rumored, dwarves will be more useful...that and if we get Rush Impact :P
The way I described it to people that ask why I chose to stay Maestro instead of roll a dagger class is because if a high level DD beats me, it's like "grats, you're the 7th grader that just beat the 3rd grader with down's syndrome" but if the dwarf beats the high level DD, they usually get a ton of flak and ridicule about it for a good long time lol.
I fear I'm not a Maestro, I'm a Bounty Hunter, but I'm sure they're not dead! And the Dwarven race in general certainly isn't dead!
Unfortunately bots have always seemed to favor Dwarves. Perhaps because they can carry so much, and of course because Bounty Hunters can spoil. But that doesn't mean they're a bot class! Plenty of us are real live people!
i am late (as allways in games) to post few words. but its better to late than never do. so,i think we are not dead,we are alife and more that somebody thinks. without maestro nothing can be craft,nothing can be progress. we are cool chars,funny and strong. we have nice buffs,wich many ppl looking for. and ofc, our seige machines are the best !!!! nothing can stop our golems !!! BONZAAAAAAAAI !!!!!!
