So I'm out exping with my Prophet, who I run on a second client on the same computer, so I can only see one L2 screen at a time. My buffs are about to run out, so I run back over to where I parked him, and he's nowhere to be seen. So I figure that client just DC'ed or it crashed and I didn't notice. I click over to his client and he's standing in front of the Game Manager on the Fun Isle thing.
How or why would he be standing there all of the sudden? Am I being targeted by a GM and probed to see if I'm botting? Wouldn't they try and say something to me to see if I'm even around before porting me all the way across Aden?
i know that issue... it is a known one...
it happens when u have a dualboxed buffer...
while u play with your main.. an alien spaceship around earth hypnotizes you with its laser beam... while u are hypnotized they get into your room... and sit on your computer they move your buffer to fandasy isle and then switch window to the main char...
when they are gone and u wake up u know nothing of that ...but u get surprized when u find your buffer is elsewere...
solution... wear aluminium foil in your head while playing l2 so aliens cant read your mind...
it worked for me... no more aliens in my room!!

Cute, anyone with a real answer?
Yes, it happens to me from time to time too, it happens when a clientwindow is behind another clientwindow, somehow the inactive clientwindow still reacts on your last mouseclick when switching to the other clientwindow (sometimes).
Solution: let your buffer sit, then switch to the other clientwindow.
All graphics are now dualhead so buy **** cheap 17" lcd to play in window mode on 2 monitors. I can play 3 chars on one 24" lcd. But I am still max. dualboxing :-D
And if you disable that Decrease Background performance option in Audio tab options you will no longer lag like a hell while alt+tab.

/confirmed, tho its recommended to enable this option if you use 3 or more clients.
for example sieging in a big mainwindow, while alts are in a small windows in the background with decrease background option enabled, will help loads for your main window to be less laggy/choppy.
