and btw, I think you guys got something wrong. I don't dislike botting because it's "cheating". I dislike it because botting ensures you don't know how to play your toon, and so you suck at l2, and people that don't know how to play usually end up ******* me off in pvp/raids/hard pve 100% of the time. That's why I don't like botting. And taht's why I left RR. They're all clueless scrubs who don't know how to play their toons. It's not the botting directly.

Legit. I lol. I know maybe a handful of real legit player and that's not because they have the moral compass to play this game that way. Its cause most of them don't have the money to buy adena, spend on program's ECT.
Let just say
1. You buy adena = not legit
2. You use third party software = not legit
3. You let someone power lvl you or lvl you = not legit
4. You bought your toon = not legit
5. You where given your toon = not legit
6. You where once in a party getting great xp where they where 3rd program using = not legit (not using but benefiting from is the same)
7. You use 3rd party program as radar only because enemy does = not legit
8. You never used programs or any of the above on your support only = not legit
Now look deep in your hearts if you ever done one of the above let’s say only one time = not legit.
To me the only way this game would ever be legit now 5 yrs in is to reset and start everyone at lvl 1. (But not going to happen)
So I wish people would stop crying over spelt milk, and play the game.
I also believe that banning people because they use 3rd party software has past its effectiveness. Maybe a system of suspensions instead, to offset the gain of using it for mentioned programs. Your caught once, 1 week suspension then 2 then 3 ECT.
Losing people at this time in the game just hurts the game.
Banning the guy you hate, makes the game boring. Example Zert. Was hated by a lot, but he pushed people to lvl and play harder if nothing else but to kill him. This game needs toons you hate, needs drama, needs politics’ need that shat talking without it, its WOW.

This topic is both highly entertaining as well as informative. Not only do the majority of the live L2 players who read this believe the accusations of botting, but most have seen it for themselves (At the very least, in the cases of Imran and Feylin). That being said, the majority of the L2 playerbase doesn't really care about V in the end. Clans come and clans go, big mouthed players come and go as well, but in the end the average player will continue to play as they wish to play, when they want to play, regardless of who claims to be legit.
But none of that changes the fact that this thread is a highly entertaining early evening read.

then you might have been following the "wrong" ppl. During the main wars between the nonfactors and the playafollowers there where alot of ppl that refuse to bot. But well, those times are gone, most quit because they dont wanted to bot to have a chance .. and ofc your right, now there are not many left, and it dosnt realy matter anymore.
And you dont need to cheat to start a drama, im quite sure that we had enough drama in the nonfactor-allies .. without using walker ^^.

I have to so agree with you FinalEagle 99%... Except one thing.... and guess after over a month of reporting these 4 bots and nothing has happened but the bots got smart of us kiling them ... then training them..... so now the owner of these bots behind these have set their bots in pairs so can pick up the mobs from trains if their partner cant handle them... they also have made them kill steal every freakin drops your mobs have dropped.. Now those bots need to be banned but will it happen NOT.. everyday reporting has accured only because of this... them the ones that piss everyone offf.........
anyhow the subject of bots ( is that all anyone has to talk about after over 5 years?) It is old and boring subject anymore. Why am I replying because the same reason FinalEagle has it needs to just move on and people stop crying about bots..
