We are excited to announce the EOGamer Grand Summer Madness Contest!

EOGamer is approaching our one-year anniversary of its initial founding! What better way to celebrate than to raffle off some great prizes? It's been a great year for our team and we are excited for what the future holds. Now we want to hear from you!

If you participate in the contest, you have a chance to win figurines, an iPod Nano, a Belkin n52te Tournament Edition SpeedPads, XBOX 360 Elites and much more. The winners will not only earn great prizes, but every feedback will help improve the EOGamer Network, making it the greatest online resource for Every Online Gamer. To participate, check out the full details here: http://l2.eogamer.com/wiki/EOGamer_Grand_Summer_Madness_Contest

The contest is tier based. This means that the more people that sign up for or Wikis, the better the prizes get. This contest is open to all gamers, so get the word out about EOGamer to everyone you know to help improve the prize levels at the end of the contest!
Didn't know this existed, very nice website!
Thanks, hope people will have interest in this competition as its up to nearly 2000 dollars worth of prizes...but hopefully people won't just talk about bots bots and more bots and ignore everything else.
We've already had some entries and the number of wiki signups are rising. Keep em coming, maybe YOU can be the one with a brand new XBox or Playstation 3.

(and come on guys, gotta be some interest in this contest in this forum to actually make some comment posts)
here is my feedback, i look into "http://l2.eogamer.com/wiki/EOGamer_Grand_Summer_Madness_Contest" that website, and i get confused as hell, a better wiki or tutorial would be really usefull, at least for me :x

Ok, do you mean the contest itself is confusing or the overall wiki?

If you click on the main page on the left menu, it will take you to http://l2.eogamer.com/wiki/Main_Page

And there is a menu you can select what you're looking for like quest guides and general guides.

But I like the idea of making a tutorial...great feedback, making some form of top link to a guide that shows you how it all works and where to go for things.

Thanks Kaph.

tbh, both, i have no clue on what to do like i told you, what should a participant, like me, need to do? i'm not sure, but i guess i have to follow those "Entry's" and then? =P

and thanks for the contest btw :>
All you do is sign up for the various things listed in the entries.

The type the username you signed up as in an email like this:

Forum: <username>
Wiki: <username>
Twitter: <username>
Facebook: <username>

etc.

You can also make a wiki edit in the L2 Wiki or an entirely new article about a subject you know about and you get 2-3 additional entries.

For every entry you make, you get 1 chance to win...so if you do all 9 things you get a total of 10 entries, therefor 10 chances to win a prize (though if you win, the rest of your entries doesn't count anymore, but its drawn highest prize down)
I have registered on everything possible but...on what email do I sent the info?

Edit: nvm found it :P
ok LordChaos, thanks, i'll do it soon :D
Its all in the contest text, but its [email protected]

Good you found it :)

Its really simple to enter and there's good prizes on the line...remember to get people to sign up for the wiki so the prizes increase.

Spread the word! :D
There's a problem with your contest rules:
You must be a resident of the United States (excluding the State of Rhode Island, and excluding Guam, Puerto Rico, U.S. territories, military installations and commonwealths), Canada (excluding Quebec) (Canadian residents will be required to answer an additional mathematical question in order to claim their prizes), the European Union, Norway, Iceland, Russia, Poland, Singapore, Philiphines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia and Brazil.
I doubt anyone is a resident of all those countires. Change the and to or and you have valid rules.

"and" changed to "or". Thank you for the correction. Any previous entries still counts despite this error.
I guess that counts me out being in New Zealand and all... or do you count NZ as being part of Australia ;) (speaking as an expat Canuck living in Kiwi land).

Inch.
I am unfamiliar with the contest rules of NZ, nor the legality of changing the eligibility of contestants to include more. But I don't see that as being bad, as it doesn't impede others from entering the contest and if anything it increases the prizes.

I'll get back to you on this very soon.
As we've reached 20 Diggs on our contest news, we're now going to add an additional 30 day time card (valid for any MMO) or iTunes gift certificate.

There will be more prizes added as the Diggs increase, with a bigger one at 100 Diggs...so start digg'ing and join the contest! There's not so many entries, so at the moment you have a huge chance of winning something.
More sign ups :) Remember the more of your friends and those you know you get to sign up for the wiki, the greater the prizes will be and there hasn't been a great number of entries yet, so plenty of chances to win!

This!

Come on people...can't be right that there's this big a contest and most people seem to just be ignoring it.

Well for me the turn down was the *way too complex* way of participating.
Do this, do that, do even this and then do this and that.

KISS! Keep It Simple, Stupid!

One forum reg+suggestion and that's it -is how it should have been done.

I don't know...if hundreds of dollars of prizes isn't enough for people to just follow a simple line of instructions then :( well, ok I guess. But yes, I can understand how it could easily become complex to follow.

Btw, it is that simple to participate, as it is stated, you can enter any number of them, even just registering on our forum and nothing else. And considering the amount of entries, even by just registering on the forum, you actually have a very high chance of winning a prize. (as every participant can only win 1 prize)

There'll be other contests in the future, most of them with easier entry. Though for this contest, considering I am personally throwing over 2000 dollars after this thing out of my own pocket, then I would like to see people work a little, or at least spread the word about it. In the end this is something to improve things for the L2 Community and players and help them. I don't get anything out of this other than a huge amount of time and money used, heh.
Only 20 more signups to the wiki and the prizes move up a tier...sign up and win. You have a very high chance at winning right now.
LC, check your e-mail...i submitted my sirra guide to you since it mysteriously disappeared from the official guide forums on here.

10 entries, i hope.

Yup, that counts as 10 entries. :) Remember that the more wiki accounts there are, the better prizes there will be, its close to hitting the second tier now. So it would be a great idea now that you're signed up to spread the word about EOGamer and get people to sign up for the wiki, better prizes for you that way.

next contest could be a referral contest.

ani, would get my referral since she's had EO as her msn info for almost 2 months now.
hehehehe, yeah, that she has.
Well, just a little bump since very few are replying.

aaaawwww Cuz it's the biggest Problem and always will be! :( Until NC decided to sell game $$$ with coins also there will be no end to BOTS or people complaining about them.
Only a few days left of the competition. Not many entries, so hurry to enter, its very easy to win right now.
maybe nc would actually promote you more if you were giving out aion prizes.
Could be, but we don't have any Aion prizes sadly. :(
if they had a figure of a female temple knight, i'd buy it right then and there...you know wow players can get their exact character in any armor they want made into a statue?

well, if i win anything, hopefully i can use the nc time card for aion.
