Chance to crit from damage augment

I tried to find info on this when I got it, cause I thought it might be really good, but didnt and finally put it in action so heres the difference on my lvl70BD. Augment:

Chance: when damage is received, increases critical rate by a fixed amount.

Result: before the chance critted I had 119 and after 132.

I got that with a load of dump so I wont be having it. Especially as it doesnt crit very often. Maybe if it comes on top of other nice crit bonuses it is worthwhile having, especially if it raises the % of the base.

almost always chance augments are junk.

you could get just as much crit rate with some regular stone, that would be always on. keep trying for better augment imo

get another augment.

Just buy low lvl stones they'll do you well you may need to try a few times but I usually get what I'm looking for without too much hassle. and who gives a crap about glow if my augment lands its game over.

lowlevel stones means lower level augment skills meaning they'll get resisted more often.

Yes, there are a few times where it is resisted but I have my doubts thats its because I used a regular stone rather than a top level. To your other point Red is very rare ie it doesn't get any better and if you check up on all the augments you can recieve I think there is only one other that is better than this one. paralysis.

ur only using lvl 6 skill (lvl 64. ls 76 = lvl 10 skill) it land nice on mobs/ppl that r 6x mayb it will 99% not land on anyone thats 76+ imo skill lvl is big factor on landing something on a target
