OK, I think I have a basic misunderstanding shared by my clan (Phoenix server). I have read other threads but this may be too basic a question to appear in them. If our clan signs up in Dion and are all labeled Dion Guardians, are we fighting anyone who isn't a Dion Guardian?
I was surprised to see Oren Guardians, Giran Guardians etc. on the field (shouldn't they be in their own towns?) One group kept complaining that we should not be attacking them. I later noted that the territorial Manager had just about all the labels/tags whatever owned by Synergy. There was only one tag listed elsewhere.
So are we all supposed to be allies? I saw some ref to this in one of the threads, but I just want to be sure I understand. So how do you identify an enemy? Where do you get the info you need to know what you are supposed to be doing?
You are fighting everybody that isn't aligned with you, it's pretty simple. Now if your clan has a deal with another clan that's signed in a different territory that's a whole different ballgame, however it tw terms it's in your interest to kill whoever isn't a guardian of the town you are.
Beyond that castle owning clans have to go to all the other castles and get the wards from there, more wards they get more stat bonuses they get. Presumably you meant wards not tags.
That is what is so fun about Territorial wars. Once they start, you can go to any castle and pvp :) You can kill anyone without your Territorial Icon. In our case, we have all the territorial wards and no one yet has tried to get theirs back. So we go to the Forts and kill the ballistas and then to other castles for the pvp. The forts are great because it appears they are the places where you get more badges at the end.
