you get like 100 enchant scrolls a day just by spending a few k and that for 7 days. Means you have around 700 scrolls over all... You don't think you'll get at least one of them +10?? That event doesn't force D/C enchants on you, if you want to get them, then go for it, but you might as well try to enchant more and get something useful. Why would I want to get at least 1 staff to +10? For a stupid EWC? You are rediculous.
And regarding S80 and it's usefulness, come back when you have actually made a staff to +21 or +22, heck, even for regular S grade. Theoretical rewards are far from usefull...seriously, you talk like it's a given that you get an S grade item. Anything less that +14 is a waste and complete garbage.

NC, please either make the accessories sellable, or make it so we can pick/exchange with the NPC for the ones we want - we don't need more than one of the same non-tradeable accessories hehe.

Yesterday I was so close to it... I will get a bunch of scrolls and test my luck Sunday =D.
Between me and my bro we did about 800 enchants (bought some aswell) and never got passed +15. I got 1 to 15, 2 to 14 and thats it, he didn't even get passed +14 I think, so many fails going to +4 and +5. In the end he got nothing.
1 Tateossian Earring from +15 (sealed..so mean, but at least I finally completed my s jewel set)
1 Black Mask which I cannot even trade to another toon on my account but it looks alright on my Fortune Seeker :)
I wish the enchants dropped more, the drop rates are even worse than nectar. The event is still early but I will not buy another batch of enchants form a player shop again... not that it's expensive, but it takes forever to click them and it's very annoying at times..especially when you are constantly failing +4's and +5's a lot. What should've happened was removed D and C enchants all together and put potions/juices instead, those are a bit more useful than D and C stuff imo.

If its not the worst event its in the running a least with other events you know its crappy from the start but this one gets your hopes up so high than squashes it to the ground :o

Some say worst event, some say best event. For me it is people emotions on enchant success or fail. :)
For me it is good event. Why? Several reasons:
- it almost can not be influenced by bots - drop rate is really low, and 24 package buy is per account.
- it almost can not be controlled by rich people, like buying all the scrolls and sell them with high price
- you can choose yours target (like to get EWS) and work on this. Random will allow to seek yours target sooner or later (or never) without of bunch of crap.
So, in overall it is good event.
BTW mine luck info:
1 -> +15 -> changed to tateo earing (wanted to have some guaranteed reward :)). Btw +15 staff is still blue :), or maybe it goes to red in +16
13 -> 14 - 1 fail
10 -> 11 - 2 fails
9 -> 10 - 1 fail
don't count lower enchants but remember that it was only 3 fails on 3 -> 4.

Rewards are strange :
Fireworks are ok, it's easy to get past them, logical you don't get EWS or S80 weapon there. Up to +7 it's ok : it's easy to get those shadow hats. They are what they are, like it or not, but if you like them they last long so it's fine.
But after that, there's a desert of crappy rewards. EWA costs something, so lets say next interresting reward is +13, but inbetween is oblivion.
The permanent hats at +14 are very disappointing because you can't even give them to another character of your own account.
Tateo jewelery, event if it's not worth a lot, is a cool reward to stop at.
Then again you have some strangely crappy rewards (LS). At that point, every other level of enchant is a pain to reach, but they keep adding "fillers".
EWS is cool, even if the price is going down and you expect more from an event than what you can get from cubics.
Armor S is lottery : MA gloves you lose, IC top you win. Can be very frustrating after getting there through a tough lottery.
Weapon S and Crystal 14 are great if you don't get an Imperial Staff, even if at that level of OE you could have the possibility to choose the color of the crystal.
And again, an unecessary filler at +21. If you want a Cry 14 you stop at +20. Seriously.
And S80 armor and weapon are cute but out of reach because of all those stupid fillers.
If top reward is easier to reach through normal gameplay, maybe there's something wrong in the "event". Well, of course Vesper weapons only drop for the clans that are able to smack Tiat, but still, they drop in a whole. They are already ingame and S80 is starting to be cheaper.
Maybe you want the top reward to be super rare, but then it shouldn't be just S80.
I'm sure we can all count. It would be much better if it was set up that way. It would actually stimulate the in-game economy (Crystals, OE'd lower grade weapons and armor, etc.). The filler items are utter stupidity. Fireworks? Life Stones AFTER S Jewel and Before EWS (just doesn't make any sense to me).
D and C Grade Enchants. Please.
This event doesn't even function as a cash sink. It's not hard to log in 7 accounts every 6 hours to get event items on them. The Enchants are tradeable, hello?!

I think this event is only to prove that people can do +15 on weapons and most of the +18 draconics ones that are poping from no where can be made without cheating... what can i say...?

Yeah I agree. I've got two Yogi staves up to +15 so far, using the 24 enchant scrolls 2 times a day for the last week or so, over three accounts. So the number of +0 staves I started with is well over 150, I would say.
Two +15s out of ~150. Given the cost of buying or making just a SINGLE Draconic Bow to attempt with, I would agree that that is what you would call "impossibly difficult". You might expect to see one or two per server, max (probably not even that because who is stupid enough to take, say, a +10 Drac Bow higher than that when it's already worth a phenomenal amount of money ... psychology plays a big part in this).
I've gotten one +14 staff in all my tries. I had almost 2mil adena when I started, but noow am down to less than 200000. And I have only bought the staffs and 24 scroll packages.
Master Yogi will go back to his private island with more stuff to buy his jacuzzi and whatever other luxuries he desires.
I got lots of cash. :) I buy my 24 scrolls every 6 hours, farm a few in the mean time, and sell them to the highest buy store I find. Since I rerolled on a new server, this is how I will be funding my C grade gears. Much <3!
Ok, I have found a way to be somewhat more effective. I have 3 accounts with about 10 characters total. I get a staff on each char and get that staff up to +10 on each char and just wait until I get everyone a +10 staff. At that point I just go to each account and start going again and have had much better overall results (few blew at +12, few at +16 etc). Next time I will get them to +10 then to +14 and stop and then go for +18. NCSoft seems to calculate odds right on the spot so it does make sense that waiting would give you better odds than enchanting right away as that is still calculating from earlier successes if you see what I mean. Take it or leave it but imo its worth trying.
I followed my rule for every event that has low success rate gambling involved -- acquire and sell, sell, sell! I have 2 accounts and have been buying scrolls from master yogi every 6 hours (or as near to as schedule allows), selling them to best buyers I can find (I am too lazy to set up own sell shop - kudos to the person who sold at 75k) (highest sales 50-30k, lowest 10-15k) and even at that I have almost all toons outfitted to the max, so its been a good event for me. I tried out a few staffs too, but broke them all.
