The only tattoo I had was +2 str, -2 con, and I got rid of it after I hit 76. Don't really have much Con to play with. Whenever I complete my IC set I will get +2 dex, -2 con.
You can go full offensive for your lvling. I used +5str-5con up to 72-73 and there was no vanguard then, so the bonus is even bigger now. Some people have even used +5str+4dex-9con, but I suppose that is too extreme and could work in safer xp areas.
Since mobs are not so dangerous in the earlier lvls and since you have newbie buffs, you can easily go +5str-5con. Paired with a tallum set at A gr, you can be a mini DD (not really,but the closest a TK can be to a DD:). It will help you lvl much faster. After you reach 7x lvl you can decide which tattoo set suits your TK, if you want to play it after 75.

I agree with this. +5str/-5 con for leveling. That's your priority atm imo. At least to A grade and I would say high lvl A grade.
NM with those tat sure go ahead and tank/pull trains in it your fine. If you know your tank you'll what do to make it work.
But in Tallum "MAYBE" same idea as NM, but tallum is a good leveling outfit for places like FoTD and SV
FYI- if you can't level up in any of these places with those setup's. Something is wrong with you not the set-up.
I do well with this from 70 ->77 and going on 78 and will just get better with level's.
Since your level 40 on Sub same thing. I suggest waiting till you get your HP cube though before hacking down your CON.
So get your Cubic 1st then take a slice off your CON and dont worry about doing +5 STR just 4 will be good until tallum. Once in Tallum and you fell Ichy for the extra +1 STR go for it. Not like your ever going to see less then Full Hp bar anyway.
FYI- stay the hell away from blunts if you can unless HP axe for RB'ing
Get Haste/Focus sword. 2hnd or one Hnd really dont matter. If you do everything right you should never die.
Last since your main is a rouge I would imagine you got a few supports on Box. If you wanna save some bandwidth/multi taskin dont bother logging them. Gsap's and D-Cry's are plenty on herbed mobs.

Cata is a very bad place for a tank. I know, I lvled a lot in cata with parties and it was very slow. Sure I had fun, sure I met a lot of people partying, but I lvled very slow. I heard they increased xp and drops from catas, but have not been there lately, but I doubt it was a significant change.
Go solo in open area only. The xp/hp ratio is 2x to 3x times higher in good open areas where a tank can excell.
