Hi *passes BEER
for Rez: there are Cleric and Bishops higher the lvl better the rez and also Rez scrolls, which you can buy in any town and Blessed rez scrolls from quest.
... and from your post yesterday, I know you don't like point and click but the map Icon is alway on screen and all you have to do is click it open :)
you can remap the keys, but it will return to default everytime.
if you have Enter Chat enambled in your Options menu, simply hitting some keys will bring up some menus:
r = Macro
t = character stats
u = quest logs
e = expand/close multiple hotbars
v = inventory
k = skill window
m = map
n = clan menu
x = sit/stand
also, when enter chat is enabled, you may use WASD to move around, and holding ALT with the following keys will open new menus:
h = remove HUD for taking screens
p = toggle minimal detail (for sieges etc)
. = mute sound
j = remove the chat window
f = cycle through visible buff/debuff/songanddance bars for paty members
if you see a bot that you CANNOT tell what his name is and you want to report it, target him and use alt+shift+m to open a Tell to the targeted player. from here you can manipulate your keystrokes and do /gm petition.
key mapping is assigning specific keys to do specific things like "i" to open inventory. "m" to open maps. "s" to sit, etc. *smiles* I don't mind clicking with the mouse it just makes it easier to do things for me to hit the keys I am used to using for the last 7-8 years. I am actually getting used to using the mouse to get around. *smiles*
another question.....how do you send /tells to other characters? and is there a way to see who all is in the general vicinity of your toon? Like /who in eq?
Thank you for your continued patience with a real newbie. =)
If you want to send a tell to someone, and they have said something in chat, u just have to click on their name and it will provide you with the quote/name for the tell.
You get a message when someone enters your area? Huh?
And spud... you can hit alt+. if you want to toggle sound on and off???
