Thanks for the enchanting event. It was different, to say the least, and for a couple of days it was an interesting diversion. However, I find myself a bit turned off by the Korean randomness of the events we have had lately. I would love to have an event where there are prizes that I can actually work towards. The medal event was a good example of this. I knew what I needed to get the prize I wanted and it was up to me to make it happen.
I have enough randomness in L2. If I work toward S-grade recipes, it's a random reward. If I'm trying to get kali coin drops it's random. L2 is all about percentages of chance. Let's make the events more definitive if prizes are going to be awarded.
I have to agree... an event where you actually earn something based on the effort put in would be nice. It'd be even nicer to have an event that required more than just hunting anywhere on the map, because then the favor would go towards legit players, not botters.
I used just over 3,000 enchant scrolls for this event, and not once got above +16. Didn't exchange anything for prizes (anything below +19 was a waste of time)... oh well. That's the chance I took ;-)
I agree but its either going to be random luck or hunt a mindnumbing amount of mobs for your reward.
Why do events have to give rewards that relate to adena?
Actually, I don't mind hunting really. It's just leveling and you need levels in this game. When they did the creampuff event I was dedicating almost 8 hours a day to trying to take advantage of it. The game can get boring when you're just killing mobs for the level. It's good to have an alternative reason to break up the monotony.
