I made this from the top of my head. I want to share plz.
A blast of heat and fire hit a nearby wall, as Darren ran through a hallway, escaping his pursuers. His little hatchling whimpered as it ran. His heart skipped beats as every passing second could be his last.
"Sir, may I recomend you to.."
"Not right now, Emiri !" the prophet yelled.
Darren was sent by the temple to retrieve a scroll from a bishop who had recently died in the Necropolis while searching for links between the Kamael and the strange catacombs. The scroll contained important information on this hypothesis and was vital in proving this statement as true. Little did he know that the scroll he was sent to retreive was actually guarded by another force, fully aware of the temple's agenda.
An arrow barely missed him as he turned a corner in a room and headed into another hallway.
"Sir, I must insist that you use your little "pet" as a decoy.."
"No ! How many times have I told you that," Darren yelled at the agithon again.
"But..."
"Ignore command, immediate dissmissal."
"As you wish."
The Agithon burst into sparkles and retreated into Darren's left bracelet. Now to save his little hatchling. Darren turned around and mumbled an incantation. He lifted his hand up high and yelled. A gruesome image of a monster screamed out at the shadows and archers. All of the pursuers were stunned with fear. Some ran while other's were in a state of shock. Darren used this to his advantage and called his Hatchling back into it's flute.
"I'll take you out later buddy, really sorry about this."
Darren then made a dash through the hallways before the chasers had any time to recuperate. He made it into another room and found nephilim. One of the Centurions asked Darren, "The Majestic Robes of a Reformer ! Child of Einhasad, what is there you would ask us to do ?"
Darren had to be careful, if you said something that could be misunderstood, Nephilim will bring out the rage of Einhasad. That was not pretty.
"I was here to bless a priest's body for the after life who was killed but Lilim, but suddenly the forces of darkness attacked and I could not complete my mission !"
The Nephilim turned it's head and saw the incoming horde of shadows. This time it brought friends.
"Make haste young one ! We understood what you have done. Leave these wretches to us. We shall deal with these dark beings at once !"
Darren nodded and made a wild dash to the next hall way. As he heard the sounds of battle in the other room, he could tell that the Nephilim were losing. The person who wants the scroll wants Darren dead, really badly. Darren got to the next room and found undead. Good, he thought to himself at least he had a spell that killed undead.
"Eat light !"
A flash of light shined and blew up the skeletons into bits of bone. Darren continued into another hallway. He heard the heavy steps of Lilim Knights behind him. Shoot they are coming close ! Darren made a sharp turn and headed to the gatekeeper. I'm free ! He thought to himself. As he just was about to step into the room a shadowy figure blocked his path. The shadows faded and revealed a beautiful Kamael Soulbreaker with a tempting set of Draconic Armor and an Estoc in her right hand. She waved her free hand and the Lilim stopped behind Darren.
"Checkmate," she whispered.
She pointed her weapon toward Darren's neck and said, "I require the scroll, give it to me and I'll play nice." She giggled a little bit then held out her hand. Darren was in a state of disarray, he should had known that the scroll had been linked to the killer of the bishop in this blasted tomb.
"Give it to me now !"
Darren didn't know what to do, he was in checkmate. His chances are survival are none. Maybe I should just give up he thought to himself. just as he was about to hand the scroll over a blast of water pushed the Lilim away. Who was that Darren thought to himself.....
That was my second account that I posted with, this is my 1st one.
A blast of water swept the Lilim away from the Prophet of light. A blast of fire hit the Soulbreaker's strong, yet delicate hand and badly burned it.
"Blasted, little !....," the soulbreaker yelled before a wave of ice had frozen her solid.
Darren looked toward the source of the magic and behold, it was the Mystic Muse, and her young trainee Human Wizard.
"Are you alright sir ?," asked the kind Elven woman whose face could not be described with just words.
"Fine," Darren replied curtly, "I'm on an important mission, I must not tarry. I am required to make haste to avoid any other confrontations with..."
"Enough with the formalities," the young Wizard interrupted, "My master saved your life and..."
"Saraspillia !" the Muse cut in, "Be courteous to the young man, he has an important task don't you see."
"But..."
"Not a word from you until we make it back to that tower, I will then teach you what the word "manners" means"
Saraspillia sighed and gave a look of disdain to Darren. Darren thought to himself ~She looks around my age and is quite adorable....AGH !, I do not have time for this foolishness, I must return to the Valley of Saints and report my findings, before something else happens.~
Just at the moment, a loud crack echoed through the room. The ice encasing the Kameal was cracking. The Muse gave a serious look toward the ice, and said to the prophet,
"Quickly, you must flee, before she..."
The block of ice exploded, sending shrapnel of ice all over the room, Darren immediately threw up a shield of protection around his allies and blocked all the deadly shards from impacting. The Soulbreaker, let out a small, devious, laugh and said,
"Did you honestly think that would actually hold me back or even kill me ?"
Her unique Estoc turned into the elegantly, evil blade, the Lacerator.
The Muse held Darren by the shoulders and said, "Listen to me, the child, Saraspillia, she is destined for greatness, one way or another. You must take her to safety !" The elf pulled off a beautiful crescent pendant filled with saphirres, aquamarines, and blue topaz, the crescent itself made of sterling silver and handed it to Darren. "You will find my lover, Keegan in the town of Heine, you must message him or tell him about me and give my husband the necklace. It is he who will make all things eventually clear for you. Prophet you must leave. Now !"
The young wizard looked at her master with disbelief and asked, "Why, are you throwing your life away for this stranger ?"
The Muse smiled and looked at her young student and said, "If we all try to escape, we all will die. I sense the young man's power, it is great. You can learn much from him." The wizard broke down into tears and replied, "But I want to learn from you. You are the best, you are the only person that I actually have loved."
The Muse stroked her apprentice's hair and smiled, "Just as I have found you in the streets and changed your life, you will find in yourself something that could change many other people's lives. You must find that something, and this young man will aid you in finding it."
The Muse looked at Darren and asked, "Could you please take care of her ?"
He looked at her with a sense of loss and guilt, and said "Okay.."
She quickly whispered into his ear, "I know the secret, you must make it alive for the sake of the mortal world."
Darren nodded and took Saraspillia into his arms, "C'mon, we have to get out of here."
The Soulbreaker bound, the elf's shadow on the spot. She was frozen head to toe.
Saraspillia screamed, and began to struggle, cry, and shout, imploring that her master not just give up her life. Darren started to say and incantation to warp out of the dungeon.
"Hmph, how rude of you to interrupt our little meeting," The Soulbreaker said mockingly, "For that I'm afraid I require you to pay with your life."
As Darren completed the incantation, the young apprentice kept her eyes on her, now helpless master. The horror of watching the exchanges between the two women and their reactions. As the two people faded out of her vision, she witnessed her beloved master's impalement by the wicked blade of the Kameal. The Muse looked toward the fading image of her beloved trainee and gave a smile and died. Saraspillia could only stare as the vision of her master began to fade into blackness.....
