master enchant event was the most horrid event ever

the event blew chunks into the stratisphere... thats how bad it was. Same chance to enchant as your normal weapon? Total load of doh.

Lol... I had like 400 or so enchant scrolls and didnt even bother to use them after trying umpteen times to get anything. I haven't logged on in 2 weeks... maybe will try some grind tonight but honestly I am about to cancel sub.
wah.
Be happy that they are doing events, and I liked it alot.
I got 7 pieces of tat jewelry from it... and I sold almost 900 scrolls because I just didn't have time to click all of them; it really wasn't a bad event. Also you basically got to pick your prize by choosing when to turn in the staff. Having a billion letters fill up my inventory is WAY more annoying, and there was no way to choose reward with that one.

no events would be better at this point and oh yah... letters stack.

Yeah let's never do the Letters event again. Sick of that one. And I don't want any more events with random chances.
The event was bad imo....and the newest enchanting window is annoying, prefer the last enchanting window better (alot less annoying ). Normally I'd say better than no event at all...but not this time :(

A big +1 to that...

I couldn't wait for this event to end, and I don't think there has ever been a similar event where I couldn't wait for it to end. It lasted far too long and caused far too many problems.

At the end I was honestly just keeping whatever scrolls I got, I wasn't even selling them because I didn't want others to use them. I just wanted it to end!

Never again NCSOFT, never again please!
I made 200+m out of this event, I enjoyed it.

Raged at failing a couple times when it blew at +16 or higher.

But I did manage to turn in a +19
I made alot of adena of this event too :) I didnt give up on the enchanting and ended up with some awesome enchants.
The event was ok. But they could've changed the reward, like instead of turning in for fireworks (I wonder who would turn them in for that, maybe Koreans do? ), they should give fireworks if the enchant breaks.

Plus, no more D grade and C grade enchant scrolls pleeeease >.< The new enchanting system sucks... It takes forever to click through all the scrolls coz of the 'waiting' after you click confirm.
the event was terrible, yeah, the weirdest thing is that laggs started after it :/
were it the same enchant rate as on regular weapons? thought it was higher.
The event was, well ok I guess not the best I had but certainly not the worst.
I made 4 Tatteosian Jewels from this event so I really enjoyed it.

and what was the worst?
The event would have been very good if it did not have that utterly stupid "enchant interface". A single click for each +1 should have been enough.

Doing click-drag-click-drag hundreds or thousands of times was just awful.
TBH IMO, they should have made the enchants from +0 to +3 like automated, what's the point of making it since it couldn't blow??? Or make the staffs already +3.
On a side note, it would also have been less boring if it'd be possible to make "mass enchants", like use scrolls on a staff and have a window asking how many enchants we want to try, so that people could use all the scrolls they had. I made like 300 every 6 hrs if I had the will to log chars on all my active accounts, but wasn't really worth the time it took to use them all in the end... :(

+1 to that

I also made almost a full tateossian set in 2 days :P
Event rocked for those who appreciated it

For those who at the beginning set their minds that event sucks, too bad for them.I am used to people everywhere (school, university, work...etc) ing about EVERYTHING. Just get over it ... or don't bother us your attention seeking whining :P (oh wait, actually please do, you make my day a lot funnier :))
Ok. Im new...like super new! However one thing I will say that since I joined, I have heard about events!

I just came from Age of Conan, and played that since very close to it's launch, and every event that ever occured...was canceled. That means no events at all. Which just left grinding and or player set up events.

Im actually pretty sweet on the idea that a 5 year old game still has events!!! Heck the 1 year old game I was playing, had 1...and it got canceled?!!11!!

So...I think this is cool...even if it sucked.

1) I went for the hats, and the hats only. But the whole thing about being able to chose your reward is just not true.

It took me 800 scrolls to get the first one. It took me 60 to get the second. and then another 600 for the final one.

And I was extremely lucky to get the 3 ones in 3 tries and not get any duplicates.
In an event based 100% on chance you have no choice what so ever

2) you could chose your reward in the letter event because the stuff was tradable, if the staffs in this one were it would be completely different. (granted the good rewards were still based on dumb luck)

wah

Please do us all a favour and /ragequit in stead of whining now about an event that's been over for over a week
I only wish you could have sold the staff after enchanting them up. The market needed a boost of activity, and that would have done it.

I also wish they would have invented and dropped "+3 Event Enchant Scrolls" that gave you a 35% chance to increase the enchant level on your staff by 3.
My only complaint was that the hat should have been given out by the C grade scrolls number instead of so high. These type of events where you can't trade the item only goes to fill up your warehouse anyways.

Yes, I am upset because out of about 3000 scrolls, I still couldn't get past a plus 9 which is one reason I don't oe my stuff.

I give them credit for trying something new though and it really didn't cost all that much to the average player so that was good too.
Are you kidding ME? ? ?That was\is my favorite EVENT EVER! I need those Christmass trees!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love them!!!!!!!

guess you fell relations with the santa dwarf :D

It was best where you just had to doubleclick/rightclick the scroll and your cursor became a hand and you pointed on the item you wanted to enchant.

I also want the worldmap item back :( (anyone else had dozens of em with her/him in case s/he dies?)
The maps were never pulled from the game, still have a few of mine.
Wish they wouldnt' have changed the item description so coudl sell them in Giran now for big money -
Special ancient map 2bil :)

Strongly agree. Each time they changed the enchanting protocols, I've liked enchanting less and less and less.
