Hey guys, now I know this has been talked about already in the technical issues but I had a toon set to receive the buff and I kept criting out. So I sent in a support ticket and recieved a response that had info on how you can lose the buff including a way I didn't know of. So I thought Id share what was said and make sure the info on how the buff could be lost got out. Maybe it could be added in the text when you receive the buff the ways it can be removed to avoid accidents? Anyways here's the response I received:
Greetings,
I have placed the Birthday Hat in your inventory. In order to give you the Birthday Vitality Buff, we will have to meet you in game and cast it on your character. Please stay on the class that you want the buff to be on and let us know when you are logged into the game by replying to this incident. Please note, due to time zone differences, the senior support team will only be available between 8AM - 5PM CST from Monday through Friday.
If you are not able to stay at keyboard while your character is logged in, you may keep your character logged in. Once we find your character, we can cast the buff on you and remove them from the game to make sure you have the full amount of time to use the buff.
Note: The Birthday Vitality Buff will disappear if you switch between your Sub and Main class, get killed in PvE or PvP, or participate in an instance, the Grand Olympiad, or a clan hall battle/war where buffs are removed
i was aware of most of those buff removal types, but didn't know about the clan hall war thing... as for standard death, receiving a noble buff should help alleviate that problem, too bad the buff couldn't be added to a shadow item rather than being a straight up buff.

however, that would probably be more exploitable.
Because then 12h would last 18h + a random amount of time based on how lucky you are with vit pots
of all the ppl you should've been the first to have a clue... Police officer ;)
Why would I have a clue, your first post didnt even make sense. Instead of trying to be all mysterious and knowing, just tell us what the heck you mean...

People still think you have to have an old beta account for this? lol
No it's just that any chars created in OB won't get a birthday buff till next year ... cause OB run march through may if i recall correctly so all characters created then had their birthday before G Final launched

FYI - Noble buffs do not protect you from losing the birthday buff when you die.
