Can we please get a vitality boost after you fix this npc problem? I haven't been able to exp, because of having no spirit ore, and I can't buy soe's, so I must walk across map :(. I won't even get into, not being able to buy recovery scrolls :X.

I get more aggravated listening to the cries of individuals who feel the need to pick an argument with anyone who is not an active user on this forum. Also, why wouldn't you want a Vitality Boost? I mean, would NCSoft really have anything against it? The server's went kind of screwy, so I don't think they'd have a problem helping us out in more ways than one. (Not only the NPC, but throwing a little vitality boost our way.)
Anyways, if you want to try and get a rise out of everyone who posts in this 'community forum'. You should just go to some kiddie forum like L2Blah, because there, your argumentative attitude is appreciated.
P.S., to exp my Paladin I need Spirit ore - since it's the only way I kill mobs there - so I'm sorry if I kind of want to be compensated for the lost time, which I unfortunately had, tonight of all nights. We will be restarting the servers shortly and the issue with the NPC's will be resolved. They should be giving us some Vitality bonus for this. Here's an example why they should. If you buy a gallon of milk from the grocery store, and you drive home, take off the cap, and pour it in your cereal, and a giant bug, finger, or something gross falls out of it into your cereal. Should you not only get a refund, but a free gallon of milk, since vast amounts of your time were wasted, and what was suppose to be normal was vastly screwed up? You paid for a gallon of milk, but it came out be a gallon of disgusting. Thus, since you spent your time driving back and forth to the grocery store, and your cereal is now garbage, AND you're still hungry! You should without a doubt not only be refunded, but get a free gallon of milk. Any business would do this for their customers, unless they don't want to keep their customers.
My strider "Dirtnapper" has really earned his name in this NPC server debacle.
Last night, he was dead (as usual) and before I could pet b-rez him he vanished along with the raid boss we were working on. When I summoned him back, he was alive (1 HP) but had full XP loss.
Today, he was again dead and again he vanished along with the raid boss.
Just before the second time, I got a fantastic visit from a GM that restored the lost XP, I hope he will return and do it again.

Your not entitled to it, they don't have to give anyone anything, and issues like this rarely happen. If you look at the servers as a whole over the span of a year, issues like this almost never happen, and the servers have good uptime.

It doesn't matter how rare they are. I pay to play with occasional server maintenances that I know about before they happen. Like updates or the tuesday maintences. I don't pay to have 12 hours of my prime time ****ed up especially 2 days before siege weekend when I have a goal in mind. I know you dont care, why would you? your in nova and lvl 81 with your 3 subs so ofcourse it doesn't matter to you. But for me it does. So im gonna fight for it. And how would getting revita pops make your life so bad that your fighting so hard for us not to get them? I'm trying to help myself and others in my position get back the xp time they lost while your trying to do us harm and make sure we don't. I dont know you too well, but based on this I'd have to conclude your a really mean person irl or at least in game :/

I think you're missing the point bud. We had 12 hours of down time. Has that ever even happened before ? I had a goal of getting my sub to A grade to use my tallum instead of zubei, now that doesnt seem it will happen because of this. And im pretty sure tallum to zubei is a pretty big change and may potentially make a difference in a siege, i think we deserve revita pops , even 1 at least, that will make it up since u can go through a revita pop in about 4 hours max.I think that pretty much makes up for the downtime.

People cry about everything on these forums. However, faulty server issues that effect people for an entire day, which are still yet to be resolved, should in fact enable people to be compensated with something more than "We're sorry".
However, if you haven't actually went out and exped, watched as your pet died consecutive times, and than you went back to town, and went to every grocery NPC in the game to buy spirit ore, but couldn't, since the servers are messed up. Thus, you become very frustrated, and nothing was implemented to compensate your frustration, than you really have no idea what it's like, and you should just stop posting your insight on the matter.

If the server was down for 24... 36, maybe 48 hours, then it's debateable but the fact of the matter was the server was not down 12 hours of YOUR playtime, and I'm sorry, 12 hours does not merit a Revita Pop. You lost at most 1 day of XP Grind, Oh No... Not like you consumed any Vitality during that time, considering you never could kill the mobs, right? Issues do happen with Game Servers. I remember when the servers were down for a few days a few years ago, and NcSoft gave everyone that extra time back on their accounts, so they don't ignore the consumer when they should, and in a situation like this, there isn't a reason for them to refund us or compensate us for anything.

i was actually xp'ing 3 hours before also, so yes i did consume vit, and i continued to xp until about 4 hours into the messup. the xp was like kill 3 mobs, mobs disapear, wait 10 min, repeat. Then i ran out of soe's and the /unstuck was ******* me off and i couldnt buy any more soe's. so i just left it at that.

Incorrrect, and Improved Baby Kookaburra actually recharges for more MP than an 8x EE, even without the enchants! That's closer to me!
jyrki i know how u feel, vit hardly makes a differnce, hell i wouldnt care if i was xp'ing my main, but for lowbies or ppl's low lvl subs it does matter. at that lvl i can get 1 lvl in about 10 hours. and the downtime was 12 so basically i lost 1 lvl. At least with 1 revita pop i can get back about double my xp by playing 10 hours. So ill make 200% in the next 10 hours, (100% for the 12 hour downtime, 100% for my regular xp i would do) instead of xp'ing another 20 hours to make up only 100% which i was supposed to have yesterday. And not like i can xp it back since im taking a break tommorow. meaning ill have to really push on saturday. :(

We had an extended server maintenance on Tuesday for 2-3 hours. Now we get this server error, and you still don't feel we deserve even 1 Vita Pop? You know how many people got screwed out of their raids, pvps, pets, instanced areas, fort fights, etc? You know how many people decided to not log back in, solely, because of this ongoing issue? You just look at the mathematical variables of, oh the server disconnected for 3minutes and than it came back up. If you add that up, the server's have only been down for 15minutes during the server crashes. Thus, no one deserves any compensation, since it was only 15 minutes. However, if you think like that, and you don't see the big picture of how frustrating this is or could be for the majority of the server, than as I said earlier, your input is unnescary, and you should just logoff.

I'm all for Revita Pop's being given out when the situation calls for it, but I mean, let's be realistic, every week there is some post about how we should get Revita Pop's for something that happened, or they should be added to an event prize list, or added in game, etc.

Ya i know but it wasnt just a regular server maintenance, this was an unscheduled 12 hour down time. Maybe it wasn't down all the times. but i for one was unable to xp, but scroll of escapes, use my wh, port around. So taht pretty much to me feels like server being down since i cant use any of the necessities required to effectively playing Lineage 2. I think we at least deserver 1 revita pop for this 12 hour downtime. If its so unfair how bout they check log times and see who plays the most during the downtime of the maintencance, like who usually plays around that time, and let them give those ppl 1 revita pop since they are the ones who couldnt xp.

The revita pop was a little suggestion to compensate for lost play time, or rather dysfunctional play time, and now it has become an issue... and that is the problem.
With everything else going on, too much intolerance for imperfection is fed on these boards.
For God's sake. Stuff happens. Emergency fixes sometimes have to happen. It's not like they didn't get on it right away. They are working on it. Get over yourselves! (At least they aren't begging off and telling us it is a client-side problem!!!)
