Epics will naturally increase in price as time goes by, there is a finite supply of them, a growing demand and an in-finite amount of fresh adena generated. It's simple econ. The more players a server has the more demand there will be for epics while supply is the same as the dead servers.

actually, the number of epics available in each server should always be on the increase (except for the odd case when a(n) heroe gets banned or someone blows them up overenchanting)... they by no means remain constant...
only finite elements in game are castles/CH/forts and event items..
I do agree having loads more of adena is what actually generates inflation.. and that would be in probly loads of economics texts (not that these teach anything, but that's a different argument)... printing more currency always generates inflation..

Prices are dropping on many things, lots of things. Here is a small list of crap that have dropped in price the past few months...
Full element S sets +3/+4 1.6bil > 700-800mil Arcana set is around 350-400mil now
Top B and A weapons (mid a weapons, dle, soul bow ect) 120-140mil > 70-80mil
Wind/Earth Stones 69-80mil > 35-40mil
S weapons 350mil > 250-300mil
and... Stone of Puritys 18k > 7k
Boss jewels are always in high demand.. I figure if a server has a lot of PvP people want all the best stuff, so yeah, demand is high. But I noticed prices slightly falling at least for AQ and Zaken, the other boss jewels you won't find for sale.
just a few things I noticed recently We've had a ton of transfers the last month, everyday we are getting a lot of new and high levels coming to Dev it's kind of crazy tbh.

that's 6 times bigger than 3 years ago. That's 600%. 600/3 = 200.
So, we have 200% inflation a year :D

Come on, it's not nearly that bad...There's a Zaken +3 in an afk store for 1.7b, then there's been some guy with a store up for 2 months now trying to sell at 1.8b, he still has it. I'm guessing people are actually buying/selling at 1.5-1.6b.
Also, 200% annual inflation over 3 years from 300m would be 8.1b right now...1.6b is ~75% annual inflation (remember learning about compound interest?).
As others have mentioned, many other items are dropping in price, boss jewels are some of the few items that are really going up.

You get a really bad picture if you use boss jewels, they are some of the only items worth enough to freight between servers with character transfers, meaning their price is related to the RMT adena price more than the actual server market.
For a good picture of the servers markets compared to eachother go to l2wh.com under the market section and look at the G20 numbers for all of them

I think you missed my point. I was asking if there were different websites spamming on the euro servers. I doubt it since there's no split between the two like in other games (lorto, wow etc.)
What messed stuff up was increasing the money cap. Prior to that stuff was still 'reasonable' now you can find stuff going at insane ammounts, that weren't even possible prior to that.

The inflation of Devianne happened quite suddenly, and I don't really know what the catalysts were. The server was extremely dead and the market wasn't even that "big" (as in the amount of people to sell to and buy from). It went up by a huge amount and sat there for months, so I had to hop back to my original server :P
I believe I had made some posts about this in an old thread about the server economies, some months ago.
800M item back then is not 800M item right now. The inflation is volatile, there.

Which means crap, when you have a server economy that was/is as volatile as Devianne. Other server economies are more stable/static. This volatility makes you wonder whether or not it is worth staying on/buying anything from anyone on that server... Obviously, it wasn't worth it, for me.
I dunno where these people who pop up talking about 20M Divine Stones come from. They were 65M and Wind Stones were 120-140 at that time.
An IC Set was over 1B and a Drac Set was about 1B. Arcana ~800-850M, S Weapons with SA were 500-800+M and you don't even want to know what they were like with Attribute on them.

45-50M is the normal price for an EWS.
Those kinds of items never really experienced the type of inflation that armor and weapons did, because they are easy to obtain - thanks to alts, cubics, and the fact that 80% of the server bots.
Pagans/MoS 24/7 introduces more than enough EWS into a server economy to keep the prices down, and every weapon needs to be +3 at least in S Grade (where a majority of Devianne is thanks the the leveling habits [of that majority i.e. not EVERYONE]).
