Well just went to Comic-Con yesterday day was really looking foward to seeing what NCsoft had up this year. Was really let down to see they were supporting City of Heros and not Lineage. They also had Aion up but that was to be expected since its the new game. It seems that NCsoft has given up on Lineage since they didnt even have anything with Lineage at there booth this year. Hell last year they had a game box but that was it. I wonder when they will promote the game so we can get more new players in.
NCsoft doesn't really advertise lineage 2 as much as others due to it not really being a game designed for the market...
at a Comic con, City of heroes is a must, they market it much better too...
you'll find it in such magazines as PC gamer, while Lineage 2 seemingly gets skipped over:) i recall seeing an article on alternatives to world of warcraft, which list both guildwars, and city of heroes, but left lineage 2 in the dust.
i never played city of heroes...
i knew some people who had it, but i didn't like the structure of the game...
or at least not the perceived notion of such a structure...
i was in some gameshop here in netherlands last week tho nd the salesdude nd i had a massive chat bout mmo's... pro's/con's bout L2 vs WoW hehe.. always interresting.. he actually wanted to order L2 again and promote it for the ppl in my area.. O.o thing is.. seems to be hard to get it from suppliers so i dunno wtf ncsoft is doing but does seem a little like lineage 2 is slowly getting wiped of the map
