Just came back to L2 after a huge absence from it. Figured I'd give it another go. Now I'm back in and the world seems empty. Not many lowbies about anymore huh? Anyhow, made a dark elf, and I'm running about. If there are any guilds that want a new active, look me up. Character name is Baalit. (If by some miracle there are any RP guilds, those would be so much preferred.) Anyhow, hope to see SOME form of life in the near future. Thanks.
I'm in the same boat. You'll see when you go to Giran that while there's less people there than a few years back there's still a good amount of folks there.
Now that they made leveling to 40 super quick and leveling to 65 almost as quick (weeks or a month depending on your speed), there's not too many people hanging out in those areas any more. I hear the server is pretty lively at the 65+ range where most people spend their time.
Personally, I'm in no hurry so still in the low 40s exploring :)

The summer in northern hemisphere and some real life issues are still keeping many of our members busy irl atm but we're expecting them to show up sooner or later. Meanwhile we're trying to find some new and active members who, for a reason or another, are spending time in game. Now, I have to say we're pretty selective when it comes to new members as we try to make sure they would enjoy staying with us as much as we would like to have them. But if you think our clan description, few written rules etc seems ok to you, register and post an application to join us and we'll talk more :)

Welcome back to Lineage 2. There are still newbies around, though in these days it is very simple to outlevel your starter village in a matter of minutes. Speaking to the Newbie Guide and completing the quests he directs you to will have you at level 18 in less than half an hour, on average.
This means that people are in Gludin and Dion faster than ever.
However, there are still newbies out there (my clan just recruited a few) and there is still one RP clan left: The Echoes of Darkness (http://www.rimwall.com/echoes).
Since you are a returning player, you may remember the Hand of Shilen or the Dark Hand. The Echoes are the third-generation of those clans, and still focused on darker role-playing.
