I wish to know if there is any other logic in the aspect of female armor besides selling sex appeal, I mean it's ridiculous the fact that it gives exactly the same P def and evasion as a full body covering male armor set, it should have least give more evasion, is there any logic at all that supports this fact? I mean c'mon there must be an explination on how a full plate set worn by a dark elf woman gives exactly the same stats as a set worn by a human man (considering no enchants have been made), i mean look at the huge diffrence, the pieces missing, please if someone knows what it might be then tell me, cause i can't seem to find it?

this is the real reason. THeir target market is males 16-25. Males 16-25 only want to see 2 things a rack and a nice butt. Its proven truth. They just wanna keep the main clientele happy. I mean as a male would u wanna see a dorf male or an orc all day?

Dark Elven Women appeal to a huge percentage of the male population for their upper proportions.
Elven Women appeal to weird people with skirt fetishes (like me) because theres tons of topless beaches in my area so I get bored with the usual.
Dwarf 'Women' appeal to perverted freaks that need to be stabbed.
Orc 'Women' appeal to people who like to have their wife snatch the remote control away and tell them what to do all the time.
Human 'Women' appeal to people who hate themselves in real life.
Well it's true,but its so cute :P but nsof could stay like it but decrease pdef and increase dodge and atk spd only for women because they can ( in logic) move more easy,she has not all the body protected so they could move better.So = More atk spd and more evasion.after all a girl has alway more dex then a men in normal true life.Thats is my way

Storyline Plausible Explanation (for your benefit);
Dark Elven Females use their attire to distract opponents in order to make them easier to kill.
Elven Females allow their skirts to flow up so much to distract opponents for the same reason.
Dwarfs... are probably in trouble if they go near a church.

I always looked at the dark elf society as being similar (but not necessarily the same) to Drow from D&D. If you know what that means then the clothes make sense. One of the easiest ways for a woman to control a man is through sex appeal.
I hated the DC robes because it looked like I needed a Mojito in my hand and not a mace. I hate that I can't choose the length of my hair. I hate that the s80 robes the stockings look like I have a diaper on.
They really need some female input into their armor design.
And I'm still trying to figure out why we look like stupid dorks when we don't have any weapon equipped. The female human mystic sticking her chest out and legs askew, looks like she's has cerebral palsy.

sex appeal + less dmg from falling because they're lighter then the males (serious ingame feature, all females have less falling dmg)
Be carefull what you wish for, next we will see Dwarf Males running around in the DE Female thongs.

Well I am female, and I'll admit that (especially the Dark Elf females) outfits can be VERY skimpy... In my opinion however, some of the outfits are absolutely gorgeous, and the fashion in this game is one of the big reasons I play it. :)
Even if the less armor she wears equals the exact same as a male's armor, oh well. It doesn't have to make sense... Just pretend it's like magic, like practically everything else in L2. It’s a game.

Yeah, that's true for the most part. But I don't hate DEs at all. Not all girls envy others for their bodies, and are quite happy with how they appear. Buuuut in general, you are right lol.

Yeah I totally dig chicks with dark gray skin who lean forward when they run...not :) I also don't enjoy that kind of breasts...doesn't look when she get's older :)
Female DEs have all that extra body padding, so not that much armor needed (not to mention the distraction of the social waiting emote). Female LEs turn sideways and they disappear, so armor not really needed. Female dwarfs are too busy playing cute, slapping their knees and such, to really need armor. Female Humans and Orcs just distract players by flashing their legs, so armor somewhat less important.

personally, i think light elves look a little young... so therefore if you find them attractive, you have a thing for 15 yearolds... which outside of japan makes you a pervert... there is no winning in this game if you don't only find humans and orcs attractive... though orcs are an odd ball due to the extra muscle... i don't find the fighters attractive, sorry... mystics are just uber fit without being body builders.

Because they didn't want to make gameplay difference between male and female characters, to avoid any accusation of being discriminatory.
