So what do you guys think about good leveling spots for low A grade WS ?
At the moment I like VoS, the mobs can be quite strong especially if you go deeper and can magic crit a lot, but it can be done nicely and the xp is really great. Of course, things may change after 63 when noobie buffs are no longer available.
Still, atm, this place is very very good. I have a full maj heavy set, only 3 maj jewels - did not have enough money yet for 1 more earing and a necklace ( crazy how much AA is needed to unseal the maj jewels ), so I still use BO stuff and the weapon is a common Elysian. Oh and no decent pet yet, I have a wolf and a buffalo but they are very low lvl and can't be used yet. I have a tatoo as well (+4 str, -4 con).
The most difficult mobs are those that land that nasty damage over time thing ( don't remember their name ) - if stun fails on them and the skill lands then it's not pretty, but still manageable. I find the magic mobs really weak, just open up with a stun and then just mow them down easily, they can crit for a lot, but we as dorfs have enough hp and as long as it's always kept as close to full as possible, no crit will 1 shoot you.
There's another mob that turns into a 'cat' and can strip off all your buffs if not paying attention, so I tend to kill it really quickly and stun it, to avoid this.
The mobs that turn into 2, those can be a bit of a pain, the first one is easy to kill but the second seems to have very high evasion so needs a few Fatal Strikes to kill quickly , otherwise can crit for a lot. There's an "improved" version of this mob a bit deeper, which is yellow to me at he moment and those do a lot more damage, so I tend to avoid them for now.
I like this area becuase it can be a challenge and each mob needs a different approach, also because one mistake can be the last you make before dying :).
Any other areas you guys think are worth checking out , both in terms of xp and drops as well ?
Yesterday, I went in with my spoiler as well, full BW and BO set plus a common aoba. The xp was still very good, but the damage taken can be high since it takes longer to kill the mobs. Still better than other, easier areas though.
A totally solo WS without buffs, even with golem, won't get very far beyond 62 (at least until next update).
In any case, well known and maybe crowded areas at these levels are Forsaken Plains and Fields of Massacre. Swamp of Screams should be also doable at least in the first spots.

as for lvling a WS Devastated castle is the best till 68, then WOA, then HS, then Ketra\Varka, Then IOP, Then..oh, w8...you gonna finish being 85 there!
when they added VOS i was about 76ish and the place scared the crap out of me so not sure if it's the way to go
i'd suggest FOD at A grade (tallum obviously) and as you get higher into A grade you can play around at hot springs and do WOA bandersnatches but really you need to be out poling if you want good xp
Im not saying thats what ncsoft is thinking. I'm just saying those 2 classes are the least likely to get a party spot, and has been for about 2 or more years now.
Yeah dorfs are still good at making money, it takes time though and patience and don't think many people have that these days :)
I like to play them even on vit 0 and once I hit 63 and won't have any more buffs, I think I'll head to Beast farm and stay there for several levels. At least i can get a pet that buffs me there :).
i can't be sure cause i started last week of C2 but as i hear it stun was unbreakable in C1 so basically any class who had it had a good chance of killing someone, add to that the fact dorfs had a massive adena advantage and were able to spam SS and normal healing pots.... !!! and they were a force to be reckoned with
Well , things have changed since then, but dorfs still can make good money.
I am happy being in full Maj since lvl 61, couldn't afford a proper weapon yet, but that will happen next :).
Probably the best way to make money now i to play the market, but to make money , you need money. To make those initial money is very very hard since the D-B market is absolutely dead. The only stuff that seems to sell is A and up. So you do need to have a decent level and money to start with. Can be done, but it's not that easy for someone playing their first char.
If your a WS, there is a way you can make your "Seed" adena. If your on your first char, and at lower levels.
Get a few decent cheap Recipes (Like the Basic Mats), if you can afford them or go grind for them. Then every night when your done playing, go to Giran (Well on Bartz anyways, not sure where the crafters congregate on other servers), and make a Manufacturing Shop.
You need no mats, no adena, just MP, and watch the Adena slowly trickle in. I still have a low level WS, but I can on average make about 200K/night by doing nothing. Some nights I make quite a bit more.
While this is not much, after a few nights/weeks you have enough seed adena to persue bigger things.
Aside from that, don't bother with crafting/buying recipes for anything below A grade, aside form maybe Crafting Homu's/CBSpS, which Healers/buffers may use all the way up. Even the A grade market is on the way out.
Frozen Labrynth is a good spot. pick up the mat quest there too. 6 quest items for 1 CBP or 8 for 1 Steel. did 52-61 out there recently and left with about 2k CBP, common dama/deadmans glory and a full drop hell knife.
can go further than 61 there as well, mobs were still white to me at 61
Thanx for the input, but 200k / night is absolutely zero. I am better off leaving a sell shop with some recs in that sell for at least 400k per.
In A grade you need everal hundred millions to buy armour / jewels / weapon. You ain't gonna do with with a manufacture shop even if it runs 24/7 , 7 days a week.

do like I do, lvl up to 76, get yourself a HD focus, and exp in places where you earn money. for example, I earn around 2mil a day by exping. And I mean I EARN 2mil after I cover all my expenses! So...just power lvl asap.... easy to get adena at 78+...very easy.

Yup, already exping where money comes ... Beast farm atm, I spoil several recs / day , which will eventually sell 2-3 maybe even 5kk per. I was not lucky enough to spoil DLE recs ( which sell 30kk per on Franz), but got a load of cheaper ones. So far so good :).
