Hi, i'm not sure this is the right place to post this thread, btw i need your help. Someone has find a way to defeat a 83 dagger in oly? I mean, with hide/UE/83-skill combination it's almost impossible to me... you can't see them, and when you can, you have problem to get the target cos of switch/trick, and even if you can target them fast they have really high chance to avoid normal hit and skill. In the meanwhile they have a free-backstab cos of hide :(
Anyone has some ideas? For any class, ty.

Class... level... gear? Most important - make the hide hit not to be a backstab. pretty easy when ur back is facing a wall or a corner.
for myself, if I can survive the shadow step/backstab out of hide, then I just need to keep them disarmed until wind riding/exciting adventure wear off, and they are dead. Even if they are 85 with +15 weapons I can get them this way. I also have two target-less aoe attacks to get them out of hide, and Mass Disarm does not require a target either.
For retargeting, you can use target next command on your bar or add it to an attack macro. Although they will evade some of your attack skills in regular UE they won't evade them all, just keep trying. Keep them chain stunned if you can ofc. Another thing is, get to them before they hide if possible and try to interrupt it, but that can be difficult. Get them on target before the match starts/before they hide also, and use an attack skill, sometimes you will attack them even if they are hidden, even if you have lost the target it may still work.
In general, tanks of any kind have the easiest time to kill daggers.
Standing with your back to a wall does not necessarily help because shadow step puts them at your back, and sometimes this causes them to glitch up in the wall so they can hit you but you can't hit them.

Everytime I glitch into the oly walls, it never seems to help 'me' out... _-_
Move around like you are having an eplileptic shock. I've seen that work at least 5 times in a row. The back against the wall is not 100% safe, so dont trust it.
Next target, oe ur stuns and keep that dager stuned, cant evade those, use a blunt and try and get acuracy augment maybe. U can make the macro to target them if their not in next target range when out of hide.

It's not safe at all. Most Daggers Shadow Step out of hide and that will put them behind you.
The back against the wall crap stopped working the minute they changed hide to go the the back of the target.
Good Game.
I didn't know about the servitor trick, though. I guess I'll try that if I can remember it.
Getting to them before they can hide won't happen unless the dagger is really bad. They almost always Hide before the match starts.
I tried class base on my maestro this weekend. At some point we had 7-8 maestros signed in for class based and we didnt get any count for over 20 minutes. I can see wy ppl go to open if they dont wanna wait, also a lot easier to kill other classes if ur a dd and u go open, just need a bit of luck.
