About the even, here's a better suggestion, STOP THIS STUPID EVENT and never ever try another again until you people learn what a test server is for ... now that would be a true site ... you doing testing on something for a change.
dont even try again later, all ncsoft events are farm X amount of items to get the item you want, they just have differet stories and in game pictures.
bring back the medal events with stage 14/15's available as well as revita pops or these vit potions in this event.
dont bring in new features because ncwest obviously fails at testing/programming. you still have us grind X amount of hours for 1 Q item, so bring back an event that was useful, not develop a new one with different pictures/story that lags the servers out.

This event does have vitality potion rewards....errr...plus 10/20/30% xp bonuses O.O

Man if you can't afford to have a full time tester, hire some clueless temp guy, upload the event on the pts and log him in, have him test the event out then send him home after a couple of days.
even that is better than the testers you have now, if any.

When u do, all ppl around the mob get the glowing hands. Because this was coded as the ppl around are SUPPOSED TO BE FIGHTING THE MOB AT THE TIME they never thought that the glowing hands would go on ppl who are sitting in store. This is causing the crit error. If you dont want the crit error, u must open the event shards either a: out in the no peaceful zones, or b: away from all players in a peaceful zone. Hop this helps.
ps. this event is NOT FOR THE BOATERS..... they cant script to open event shards in their inventory.. if they did, all party members would glowhandz, and all surrounding mobs would kill em lol
Sorry but I kept dcing the whole time I tried exping. Was semi fine before this event and now I can't stay logged in for more then 30 minutes. No I vote to get rid of this god awful event until they can learn to do it properly. Giran on Devianne had 50% of its afk shops missing because of the crit error/lag out problems. That is just uncalled for it.

This runtime error is occuring even when a seed or whatever is NOT opened by ANYONE around.
I ran into this 3 times last night while porting from one place to the next, ran around the empty town and the moment the event NPC starts to load or comes into view.... you crash...
you can be sitting standing or just around and bam, runtime error..
The issue i personally think while increased when sitting in town or in town or around anyone calling up a seed, isn't limited..... as the event gui info box remains on the screen all the time and i think this also causes the occasional crash while out and about elsewhere.

We are currently working on a fix for the crash and we will be putting this fix on live as quickly as we can. I hope to have more information on when exactly this fix will happen soon.

Its not the normal fire ones its the explosive fire ones only (more rare drop rate) that use the aoe like fire attack.
For people who are saying that the event is bad, you are damm wrong. Its sad for me to see all the work behind it going in vain cause of bugs cause this was one of the most creative event i saw from ncsot, mobs design are very good, its an event that even farmers will help the entire server not only themselves, the list of tings you can get good no crap and useless enchants.
You guys simple can´t recognize that the structure and the work made on it is very good. Yes its buged and they must fixed it and conpensate us for the problems, but stop saying this event is stupidy.
I´m not a fanboi, im not happy with the bugs but i like the event structure. Or do you prefer lots of crap enchants as prize and lots of old pixels remolded like the rat ones?

I do miss giran shopping but still would rather have event drops for a few weeks what do i care.
As long as I get some vitality replenishing potions the game can crit me as many times as it wants.Vitality event FTW. Give them some time to fix the event.
I voted to keep it going out of pretty much for selfless reasons, I am to lazy to set shops and I just go in to town to buy Bbsps and then i am out xping.

hmm yea i do need to try more, cause 6 boxing pagans while just receiving a birthday buff only to have a dagger come in and try to backstab/pk you is pretty fun. not to mention he flagged right before my provoke the 1st time so i instantly flagged back. and hes in maj light, so i cant stun for ****.

the only good thing i found in his "series",is something like he go against his era:untagged,A grade,pk/karma no reason,tries to deal with better opponets,he likes to target heros first
I hate to be so distasteful towards the people running the game I enjoy so much, but I have to agree with what's being said on the forums and in the game. I know L2 players tend to complain a lot but this is the first time I've actually felt the need to say something (hence me just signing up for the forums now, Yay first post).
Whenever you guys announce events I get so excited and I honestly can't wait for them to begin. However, the last 3 events have just gotten my hopes up and it's honestly depressing. The squash event looked so good. I put in so many hours only to realize towards the end of the event that you had messed up the drop list and I was only going to get worthless things. Then I see this event announced and I'm once again, so excited. I thought wow I guess they heard us this time, increased exp, bravo! Multiple buff cocktails, nice nice could use some of those. Vitality replenishing pot very cool. And increased xp runes - again, I'm never going to say no to more exp.
The event rolls around and I'm on right after maintenance knowing that this event was going to make up for the last horrible ones. The drop rates low, but I honestly have no complaints I didn't mind, I'm sure they just make the better drops drop at nice rates due to the low seed drop rate. So I play and I play and I'm a nuker so I'm getting a fair amount of seeds compared to the other people I've talked to. 100 seeds and 10 exploding seeds, I think it's time to open them no? Takes me an hour just to get through all the seeds and I end up with 130 greater healing pots, 12 quick healing pots, like 30 MIGHT BUFF POTS? Honestly? And that berserker circlet thing which only lets get zerk yourself every 1 hr (why not just make it every 20 mins so it's actually useful?) Seriously? 12 hours of farming for such petty rewards? Not to mention I doubt even the most populated server in NA which I play on, Phoenix, will even reach the necessary amount of seeds to get the blessing even one day of this event.
I'm not going to complain about the crit errors and the downtime. If you're running new content I understand there can be flaws, the thing is is that the new content should be something we actually want so it's worth the downtime... these events are just getting pointless. Therefore I must ask that you just stop doing events, all they do is make for an L2 community who's hopes have been smashed and who feel slightly angry in the aftermath.

I voted for immediate stopping of this event. I play a maestro and it's VITAL for me to use my crafting skills to make cash. THIS EVENT IS DESTROYING ME! If this continues for another 12 or 11 days, i think I'm just gonna sit on a curb somewhere and cry.

I voted for stopping the event imediately. Event is something that adds some fun and variety to the standard gameplay. It is not supposed to prevent it. After it is fixed, it can come back again. I liked the actual concept of the event, but the drop rate is really bad (specially on the explosive seeds).
