Well heres a new merge thread since the playerbase consistently thinks we need more than 1 thread on the same thing but this ones actually a bit different. How about they just finish up Lineage II's next three updates that should have the rest of the map unlocked and then either, merge or combine Lineage II and AION.
From what I think i'm seeing, Aion looks like it's also a fantasy MMORPG like our game. So how about instead of just putting all of the Lineage II players on 1 server for all of the Americas and 1 server for all of Europe. They could figure out a way to make our game work with Aion & maybe even kill Lineage and add it into this mix. As we all know ,and there was a thread also that was made to address the issue, the boat's in game aren't really being used and that spam it does is getting annoying. NCSOFT could work it where the only way an Aion player could lvl on our continent is if they take the boat here and vice versa.
You would still have Aion and Lineage II as seperate games, as far as the Continents go and the characters of both games would still keep the same character creation that we have now as far as our starter towns go but rest would get a big update. You would have to be at least 40+ minumum to take the boat to play on the Aion Continent and same for an Aion player to come to ours. I would also keep it where you can only train skills on your home continent or in very special places like Fantasy Island. Fantasy Island could be only spot on our side of this expansion where Aion players could lvl up and they would have 1 special spot for us as well.
No doubt what i suggest would be a royal headache but it would be interesting you have to admit. Plus if done well it might become more popular than WOW since you would have 1 very big world to play in. Connected by the boats only and maybe have it go to a loading screen at a point in ocean where it loads either Aion or Lineage 2 , depending on where your going. Also we would need a new lvl cap and make it an even number like S 100 or something instead of S 85.
