We are continuing to work on a fix to address the client crash associated with the event. In the meantime, please do not summon event spirits in populated towns. Instead, please move to an area with less people or a town that is not crowded and use the seeds away from large groups of players.
Maybe you should post a gm in giran for all servers to constantly shout this, because people are doing it more or less for fun to see all the ppl dc and come back raging lol :p
Seriously if they can't seem to fix this soon, they need to stop the event until it is fixed (pls dont take our seeds away though) so people can keep shops up :o

Please make an announcement in game and have GMs stomp down on those who still summon the spirits in town, for disrupting gameplay. It is absolutely impossible to keep a private shop going in Giran - so nobody can sell stuff, and people who need to buy shots/crystals/whatever or need to craft something are simply out of luck. It is REALLY annoying.
I concur with posting an in-game announcement. I would also like to suggest that it be posted to the News section of the main site. You just have to look and see that this topic has only gotten 98 views to see that this topic is not being found by the average user opening the seeds.
Also, it may be helpful to put out an in-game announcement whenever a new file patch is ready. I think I've already patched three times in the past few hours, so it may be worth it. It may also help to narrow down the number of complaints and move closer to the heart of the problem.
this is happening reguardless of being close to towns or whatever... .cause even the person summoning the seeds are getting the crashes.... be it in town or sitting ontop of the mountain in the middle of nowhere.....
Seriously, DO something. Just right now in game, Giran was up to an acceptable number of shops again (guess because people were sleeping), someone stands right in the middle of all the shops, summons an event spirit and 80% of the shops crit error again. GF. I petitioned him for that stunt, but there is not even an in-game announcement so far, so he can always pull the "I did not know that" card, even though it was OBVIOUS he was doing it for fun and giggles.

i sleep in my 1 room apartment and hear from laptop "ding" and watch crit relog and found that guy i report him and talk with him he know it and found it cool...
Same thing happened to me, opened a shop in Aden and a guy summon a fire thing , next thing you know crash ....
I log back in, talk to him about it and he knew very well what he was doing ...
Please ... the people have just fun with DC others in town, saying "dont do it" without punishing people that dont listen to you will not take any effect at all.
Really, how hard is to make the event seeds unable to be used in peace zone? ... 1 minute? 5 minutes of work? ... And it would make most people happy untill you resolve the main problem with crashing.
Well, there is at least the announcement in the first post in this thread ("do not summon spirits in populated towns". They just need to make announcement IN GAME, too, and hand out 3 day bans or something like that for people who still do it. And the EULA already DOES says that you can be banned if you do anything disruptive to gameplay (and deliberately making shops crash surely is disruptive).
