Possible Event Fix

Maybe if the devs could make it so the glowy hands thing only happens to party members of the one who opens a seed it wouldn't crit error the other people near them? That seems to be what causes the crits.
What about just to forbid using the event seeds in peace zones. So nobody can annoy anyone with summoning them to DC others in towns ... and easy to set up for l2 devs too.

There is always some safe spot out of town to summon and kill the event monsters.
I starting to think they didnt test this event at all, and if it was test, it was using a **** uber god computer (probably the one that they use to design lineage graphics, etc) that doesnt crash not matter what you do to it...

They changed something form the korean version of the event and didn't bother testing it.

If they had they would have realized what a piece of crap they were about to unleash on the players.

This is a great idea (until there is a fix...)

But I think most people (myself included) would prefer for the event to be just stopped/postponed.

On Phoenix (and everywhere else, I'm sure) people are using spirits in Giran on purpose to d/c everyone. You can even see them shout "Ok guys =)) I'm done =))".

I play on an HP laptop and I have no lag/havn't crashed yet. HA
I got also an HP notebook (6710B), and i crashed.
this isn't related to the glow hands as people don't crash when they receive the buff nor when they lose it.... it is likely 99% related to the Monster spawning/disappearing and the NPC related to the quest as far as i can see

The uber thing was just an expression, that the event was tested using a unique enviroment that not everybody has, otherwise this would have not happen. As example you could have one of the best video cards, still it would crash your lineage 2 client if its unable to handle a unique process that other video card less expensive can handle fine.

The problem looks related to a graphics handling process, btw I am not getting the crash I just getting the huge lag which is probably caused by everytime somebody summon the mob, it sends a request to the server, th server probably is unable to handle that many requests fast enough, so it lags everybody requests whatever they are event-related or not, if you notice, since the past 3 fail events which if you check are heavy requests designed, that has become an issue. If they did test the event, it wasnt with avg graphics cards, it was using one computer that its able to handle that specific process, so it was only tested during the developer stage and not by avg users.

I dont get why they dont use the test server to actually make sure the event will work in ADVANCED! I understand is a job to do it... but thats the whole point.
Hey folks, we definitely appreciate all of the suggestions you have made but understand that we aren't able to make event design changes quickly as has been suggested. We are currently working on a hotfix right now and I hope to have more information for you soon.
