since the last patch i have big problems: I CANT LOGIN TO GAME ANY MORE cause of
1) nProtect Game Monitor Rev 1247 doesnt work any more
2) Game guard error code 620
Courious is that my husband can still login to game; we re using the same router, we have both installed Vista SP2. Kaspersky seems not being the problem, because i tried out to login on an old pc of mine and there is Kaspersky installed too. All Firewalls are disabled.
I deleted game guard folder many times and did check files to reinstall game guard. But always the same messages.
My husbands PC always crash after 1 or 2 hours, sometimes after a few moments after logging into game. Also my old PC crashes after loging into game.
I contacted NC-Soft and they replied soon, but their tipps didnt help.
I also deinstalled Lineage completely and reinstalled it, but with no effort.
Does anybody has an idea what i can do further?
I read the posts - reactions cause of event. Might be that my problem is a result of this "event" too???
Gameguard is a completly outdated software, the only updates getting done on it are small compability things, 70% of the most used keylogers are able to bypass GG and not 95% of a regular security or anti virus program, the lockers on the macro softwares he dont detect like 80% of them, if is hardware macro he dont detect at all, but it causes 95% of the game problems.
Also is not listed anywhere that you need to accept anything related to gameguard, or you have to use specific software to be compatible with Inca softwares, and that you have a rootkit instaled on your system without your autorization!
Kaspersky 2010 is not compatible with Gameguard, a lot of others are not compatible too, specially if you use 64 bits system.
Sending mails to Nc Support gets into nothing
Sending mails to Inga is useless they don't anwer at all, just that show how good their support is!
Sending mails to other companies always get the same answers, they cant add a secure flawless just cause Inga use a ****** system as a rootkit to run GG
So you get 3 options:
1 - Dont play games with GG
2 - Use old systems and weak protection software
3 - Send GG to hell (i still waiting a valid Nc answer about this, since theres not listed anywhere a agreement for a Inga rootkit to be installed)
So if Liz can help with this would be nice, look at the facts Gameguard is a failure in all points, so give a option to delete or ignore it based on user settings, or even better imo get rid out of that for the US/Euro Servers, the Korean policy dont aply on us to use those ****** tools

You mean i should try to remove Kaspersky? But it worked with L2 before the patch was installed.
All info about Inga is there, whay Inca dev's seem to miss is the code they created can be overrided actually by almost everything, and i was downloading last GG version to make sure of it, it is completly useless and you dont even get any info about what he is downloading to your computer, and he get full permissions without you assign ar it ask to you.
The game have a lot of limitations due to Gameguard, this beed discussed for ages but that crap still in game, and you cant do anything with a permission from Nc Soft, at least all my petitions were useless so far, maybe Nc should review what they announce in game requirements, and what law aply to almost all Countries in Europe, just too bad usually issues like this only get actions if they are from big companies (Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Etc.)
@Berkana i suggest you to send a petition to them using the website support system, maybe if they receive many complains they start caring about this.
So far on 64bits systems, Norton, AVG, Kaspersky are having problems, is all i can say at this moment.
In some feedback i got they claim to say is the Security tools that dont let the process being added to exclusions, i suggest anyone saying that to go check last version, you can add anything anywhere in AVG or Kaspersky last versions and GG still crash imediatly when he starts, Inca dont even lose time saying anything to anyone , they just ignore every email i send!
Oh and im almost forget, go to Inca webpage and look at their products last launch date, maybe they found so strong products that only need compability patches...
