I wasn't playing on the first 2 events but as for the 1st, yes I was dissapointed...
I was hunting for about an hour and more and I didn't get even one seed...
A friend in clan told that he got one in 3 hours...well...
I think you're crazy, the Lineage 2 5 year anniversary event was one of my favorite. You could get stones of earth/wind worth 20-30 million each right now, AQ ring, cool hats and a ton of other stuff. Then the letter C added a free extra week to the event, IMO pretty sweet.

Agreed, for me the worst by far has been the enchant one. I hated it so much that I was deleting event items.
My favorite was the original pumpkin one and the l2 letter day where you could get an AQ ring (I think it was an L2 day event where you could form two words).

Ya the original raid boss event "Indpendance Day event" July 2005. EPic event and none have been as good since. Hole armies of mobs exploding with items. Having to make alts just to hold the rewards from event. Of course that when it was next to impossible to get enchants. But is was still awesome.
I use to go to the newb town get all the newbs out there with me and AOE the hole army next the town and let the newb have all the drops. Was awesome.

every event has it's good side.
a lot of people complain about specific types of event.
as i recall there is a large player base who dislikes the Zaken's curse events with the salvation bows, and redemption bows...
even though the first of which was a 1 hour bow, the laters being shot based... they still had ok chances to get rez scrolls... kinda nice.
i personally never like the medals event, as i have a low drop rate for most event items, and terrible luck when it comes to random.

April fools event, for it's sheer amusement value...(go go 10 minute vit herb)
Gate keeper appreciation event... we love nuking, and vitality...
the Santa clause event circa last christmas. go go free +16 grade weapons... i wonder if anyone got +10 A for reals?
Call to Arms event, not special for in game drops... but old accounts playing for free is very nice if someone happens to have a +16 weapon they borrowed...

well for me, only the fourth of july event... as i missed a lot in between.
i did like that raid event, spoiled me though, thinking event raid monsters always dropped so much...
also there was some vent where mobs dropped rice cakes, i only found one mob the whole week north of gludio, a succubus, she never dropped items after first time killing her:( i still have a few rice cakes laying around... like 100 hp, and 40 mp or something that after consumption...

For me this event has been a let down only because of the issues caused by the event and not the event itself. I think if we did not have all the issues people would have liked the event more.
I dunno I'm not too fired up on this event,you can't sell the pots and some them are useless to me which usually what i'll get too!
The drop rates on event items suck otherwise I'd be okay. The Yogi enchant was alright. This even eh I'm not mental over it, I'm 76 I'm not really in a hurry anymore.

Josenita as far as i know - the event items that drop are 100% deletable or you could always leave them on the ground as they will disappear in 10 minutes.. so you don't actually have to participate.....
Perhaps you could log off for the duration of the event and learn how to take your keyboard out of capitals and learn how to spell....
worst event was that thingy were u could buy boxes and got mask of spirit and demon horns. also all pumkin events sucked. the first was just good cause scrolls were rare, after that at next events no1 had a use for it anymore.
best event so far was x-mas event last year and that event where mobs from all over the map (mostly DVC and IT) spawned all over the map (about 20 at 1 place) and they droped like 4k skin, 800 varnish, 500 bones and tons of b-grade recipes and keymats when u got a group for your own (cant remember the name of the event)
but in fact, events are a good thing, and even the current one is nice. ppl get brezzes, buff runes, qhp and some other stuff...its not as bad as ppl telling in forums...
and most important: 1000% agree sikamikanic0!!!!! no vita herbs anymore. we don t need more n00bs in that game who just became 78+ because of vit and have no clue of the game. even if u give them 1 vit pop per week, they would still cry and demand free s80 gear and all skills to +20

Sorry but there's no way to become 78+ and have no clue -- unless you bot. Even on vit4 the entire time. Besides vita herbs are pretty rare -- vit DOES drain rapidly, with or without them.

sure there is a way, i see so many ppl who start the game and ask which spots they could go and then go there untill mobs are light blue, change to next spot and go on. or they go into catas and ONLY lvl in catas. when they become 78 they lvl'd w/o botting and are cata pro's but they still have no clue... u can see that very good when u invite random ppl to HB parties or 1 group raids, then u get statements like: "surrender to fire? sec need to find it, i never used that" or "why i lose that much mp when i just dance 3 dances, i never lost THAT much when i solo'd" most dont know their classes well or dont know how their class works with others in groups (dancer + singer is best example), cause they never confronted themselves with unknown, exciting and strange situations and so they suck great when they finally start such things.

Well then why not just PK them and get on with it? Just because there are some slow people doesn't mean the rest of us should be held back.

I think most of those are bots who haven't played live up till 78+. check the hero lists and records on your server and you will see those unknown, never-heard of players who come out of nowhere winning hero titles (or throwing points to other cheaters). yeah that's right, it's easier to win hero nowadays by botting up your own point throwing noble bots. a month or two is all it takes.
