read the announcement. The NC ppl say that there are more than enough seeds to do it every day.
After the update yesterday, I expect everyone to much better today. Looks like several servers already have at least 10% and the day has barely begun! :)

The drop rate is still somewhere around one or two per hour on Aria so what are you talking about?
The drop rate was not changed but we did make an adjustment to the event in last nights hotfix.
then how can there be "enough seeds" to reach the blessing each day, knowing the fact that afk bots would not use their seeds (since the least they need is vit)?
and since the drop rate wasn't changed and most legits don't have 24/7 to farm that 1 seed per hour, ofc we SHOULD all save seeds for better chances of reaching targets on the special days.

Bots are afk farming 24h a day so they get more seed than any "casual" players but those seed will NEVER be used, it will at least be sold for too much money compared to the rewards you can have.
In fact loads of them dont pick those, i suggested already to make the support game checking that, but ofc those are just players who decided to ignore the event and the seeds will disappear in 10 minutes...

For the bots to be responsible, they'd have to affect the drop rate of these items. They do not.
Wether the bots are there or not will not change the amount of seeds live players will collect and if players will decide to use it, or save it for a better reward period.

I think you fail to understand how the event works. In an attempt to make the event fair between different server sizes, the number of players is taken into account when rewarding each server.

How do you reward servers based on effort rather than number of players? There are two ways to do this. Either you regulate the drop rate, relative to the number of participants, or you regulate the value of each spirit killed, relative to the number of participants.
Either way, this means that the same average effort will be required from a player regardless of the size of the server he plays on. Which also means that the more bots (or other moronic people) you have that fail to paticipate, the more effort the real players have to spend to compensate for that failure.

This kinda amuses me when legits are refered to as casual. I was called casual as well when i only played 6-7 hours a day.
Its funny how the game definitions change...i imagine soon botters will be called HardCore players ...lol.
2 bars away here on bartz. That puts us on time for about 10-1130pm roughly so the people who get the bonus on an NA server will be all the euros who will get it for the entire day they are up lol. If it was reverse we could all look forward to a nice day of bonus xp! My only hope is people stocked up for tomorrow for the bonus day and get it early.

yep 1 bar away here on bartz...my guess is the last bar takes more that would fit the ncsoft sadism properly...like the last bar takes as much as all other bars combined lmao.
To the person talking about 20% xp is not a huge deal....to some of us it makes xping kinda fun again knowing you get that free bonus.
Have to calculate a bit more, but it seems the extra xp is not affected by the vit bonus. That is, the mob gives whatever xp you would get without the event and then on top of that it gives an extra 20% of the base (no vit) xp. So it is not all THAT much.

Look at the event details by clicking on the message box. First it starts at 2 hours, then up to 3 hours. Will max out at 40% bonus.

Another stupid fact about the event: no matter how many seeds you've opened, if you can not play 24/7 (like bots), the chance is you WILL MISS that pity pathetic little 2 hour bonus buff.
So in the end, the real winners are those 24/7 bots who do not even need to open one single seed.
point is most legits with a real life can not be online 24/7 to enjoy the bonus. and that's what's sad and pathetic about the event. got it?

And yes, I agree that the bonus should be picked by the player whenever he/she is ready for it (within the day) and not given out whenever the bar fills up.

Completely agree about getting the reward when the player is ready. It was after midnight EST before Aria even got their rewards
It would have been better to do the daily reset a few hours earlier, so that at normal turn-in speed of the event items, the goal would be reached during prime time. But of course people can also do what was mentioned above, just ORGANIZE things, save the seeds and use them right after the reset to get the reward earlier in the day. And on international servers like our L2 servers, on which people from all over the world play, you can't make everybody happy if you have a daily reward at a particular time.

Yes but I dont think there can be much arguing when an american plays on a euro server or vice versa. Obviously the timezone of the server should take precedence. I saved up a bunch of seeds today hoping for the reward....see how it goes ^^

Nah, the time was bad for EVERYBODY, US players and euro players (like midnight for US players and early morning for euro players). But I guess since this is the first time this event is running and since they made a quick fix to the rates, they did not really know themselves what time the rewards would probably end up at.
