I like the event as well. I have made a bunch o cash, bought some cool weapons and now that the event trigger rate is adjusted, I'm getting extra exp and tasty juices. I get everything that used to drop + free bonus event stuff. The threads full of whining remind me of a bhuddist philosophy. Don't fault a rock for being a rock. The event is what it is, your job is to figure out how to maximize your benefit from the event.
The DC's and lag have been a bummer, but they were fixed. Unlike some, I dropped my expectations for perfection a long time ago. My life has been better ever since.
